  1. No rumors and no I can't give any more details because I don't know any, I found this out by accident but it's for certain.
  2. You wouldn't ever lower the price of a one day ticket as that has the chance of lowering the per cap. Whilst sure a VIP ticket ultimately let's you come many times for free almost there is still a guarantee that you still get your $80 for each ticket sold.
  3. I'd also like to see a rerun of the 3 park super pass type ticket that's just all parks for 14 days and is just a simple ticket, no photo or anything. Just quick cheap and easy for tourists.
  4. They should build a wet n wild style park near there.
  5. These articles are not written for educated enthusiasts they are written for lay people. Enthusiasts always seem to lose site of things like that.
  6. All discussion of GC vs Sydney now here
  7. Well if you didn't brake at all and failed to shift your weight properly into the bends you could definately flip it. But who would do that?
  8. Jambaroo's have wheels and skids. It definately would be possible to flip it if you were a tard but Ive done the run many many times with no braking at all.
  9. Yeah problem with the toboggans is every idiot goes in the experienced track but then rides at a beginner pace. It's simple, if you plan to brake AT ALL you have no place on the experienced track. If you're lucky you can get one good ride in a whole day. Be prepared for idiots behind you to keep yelling at you for waiting for multiple greens.
  10. I think your English is just find. Better written post than many!
  11. And so where would the 20mil budget come from given all recent additions have been sub 15mil?
  12. there is no way slide parts are arriving yet, there is so much ground work left to do first
  13. It's funny, I have found many GC residents that have lived there forever high and complain how awful it is where as those like myself who have made a choice to relocate here see it for how wonderful it is. The GC has problems like everywhere else however it's quite unique with its balance of city benefits but small town relaxed attitudes. There are of course awesome cities in the world to visit but at the end of the day none of them are in Australia which is one of the best places in the world to live. Something I think a lot of us Aussies also take for granted at times. As for Orlando, wow what a shit hole soon as you leave Disney property.
  14. They composed and had the music performed/recorded by an orchestra from scratch.
  15. Not at all a Mack coaster but here's a good example of potential good uses for a water coaster style ride system Vliegende Hollander at Eftelling Here's a video on the making of it
  16. No argument from me. Australia has to have some of the worst customer service ever. It's a rare surprise when you get good customer service.
  17. To be fair Gazza I think his point was that you were wrong, which you were. And I think that's a fair cop because I also read the tone of your post to be kind of a harsh one.
  18. I'd say here the problem is fools will close the restraint without their legs in the proper position. I don't know what it is but Australian's just seem to have so much difficulty with ride restraints.
  19. There's also the leg grabs to close and the restraints do have to fit a lot better than on an invert as you're entire weight is pretty much supported by it.
  20. See I never found it an issue, you don't have to put much weight on that harness to set it at the right height, and the big seat isn't meant to be a seat, thats where idiots get it wrong. If you stand properly that thing never touches you and it's a comfortable ride. I hardly think in the dozen or so times I've ridden Riddlers that I'm either a)a genius, or be b)fluke lucky to have the restraint right every time. And as for loading process... good luck to australian parks and loading a flyer!
  21. Yes and I dont know why. It still gets the most omfg reaction from the GP when you mention it and it's a great feeling if your not so much of a moron you can't set the restraint at the right height.
  22. Yep I've long proposed a stand up for these reasons but for some strange reason (given I rank riddlers as one of the greatest rides ever) they've gone out of favour. I think a flyer is now the marketing gimic a park could benefit from.
  23. Great to hear such a positive revue
  24. ^^ why is it dissapointing that sea world is getting a water coaster? It's kinda the perfect ride for the park.
