  1. I guess I understand your doubt but as wikiverse pointed out with the slow operations the second train stacks on the brake run every time and you can straight up see both trains have the seat, it's not like we're simply confused at what were seeing.
  2. The lines were massive so I had plenty of time to confirm, 100% both trains have the spinning seat
  3. While at Snowy Nights I noticed both trains on Steel Taipan had the spinning rear seat. During the event it seemed like most of the trains being sent had someone using it but from what I've seen during regular operation its often empty. Anyone else questioning the decision? I feel like they have to reduce the price if they want to make use of both trains effectively.
  4. You can see them running both on and off in this video and at 1:03 you can straight up see one being taken off, maybe its riders choice?
  5. Serpent Slayer was back operational tonight. Steel Taipan was running two trains, both now have the spinning rear seat. Was pretty popular tonight but I cant understand the decision, most times I'm there it seems to run empty. Surely they decrease the price now they have two right?
  6. Stopped by the park on the way home from work today and saw this on my way to Taipan. Personally I don't think its a great location for a sensory room unless they've done some significant sound proofing inside.
  7. Seems like Sea World themselves don't even know which it is
  8. They likely contract the work out and don't want to pay more to have them there at night, plus on cold nights it may not dry in time for testing in the morning
  9. Down for the entire QLD school holiday period too, at least its winter so it probably wouldn't have been that popular even if it was open
  10. Dreamworld have recently added the below to their website: https://www.dreamworld.com.au/holiday-packages/ Looks like they have partnered with Paradise Resort to offer packaged accommodation and park tickets. Not sure how the cost compares to buying everything separately but the cheapest option seems to start at $1299 for 4 people over 5 nights.
  11. PicoPlay have posted some more shots of the theming being made https://www.instagram.com/picoplayglobal/p/C8bEKWqPSxO/
  12. I'm assuming some of the indoor sections will be slower moving + the time spent on the turntable will add up to a decent ride length
  13. Picoplay uploaded this on instagram, seems to have a lot of Jungle Rush theming pieces on show JR Pico.mp4
  14. Not a mass walkout, but I know from past experience that most seasonal contracts end after the Easter holidays. Its entirely reasonable that they didn't offer enough seasonal casuals the opportunity to move up to PT and as such simply don't have the staff available.
  15. In the sunrise interview they state the second train is built to be backwards facing. I'm guessing you'll hit the turntable twice so you return to the station the way you got on? This way guests can choose which experience they want to go on
  16. Do you think the parks would have implemented it if they didn't have to? You act like the parks install these redundancies purely to slow things down instead of you know, because the regulators enforce it
  17. Recently signage has appeared at the entrance to Dreamworld detailing a proposed development which may include nature based tourism attractions. What's everyone's thoughts on what this might be?
  18. idk where you read that, aside from a sarcastic comment about the lighting only being visible a few nights a year everyone is talking about how good it is?
  19. Seems like they do really want to have it open one last time before Murrisippi Motors opens. With how slow insurers are though I don't think it will happen
  20. "All the latest technologies" except new restraints apparently
  21. that face.... please tell me I'm not the only one that finds it hilarious
  22. Support pillars are being unloaded in the carpark right now, painted a brown colour, not as dark as Kenny's Forest Flyer
  23. That's one of the better choices from the providers lineup at least. Surprised they didn't go with Wizard of OZ to build some hype for the new land though
  24. From the concept art it looks like maybe the exit is in between the two tracks? Could be why they moved the staircases to the outside. Looks weird to me, especially after seeing Tweetstryd
