  1. After countless accidents and deaths how can they (Disney) still getaway with calling themselves "the happiest place on earth"?
  2. No theme parks - blame the government (they dropped the paramount deal to build a crappy local studio)
  3. I doubt they would build this near Dreamworld, since WWW already has a Nick themed water attraction.
  4. Shrek 3, come on making profit from a borrowed license. Another reason to drop the Warners name.
  5. Two new shows instead of any rides, sounds as dodgy as Wonderland became.
  6. It's about time they closed it. Now all they need to do is put something worthy in its place. I like to think maybe something T4 related.
  7. In other words, it's the exact same platform used for Lethal Weapon. I went on Scream @ SFMM - one of the best types of coaster i've been on so far.
  8. What's your gripe about the crowd? Alot of people is not necessarily a bad thing, it only proves that rides are popular and we need a real amusement / theme park (not counting Luna Park) in Sydney.
  9. For a dark ride i thought they could do something like Rogger Rabbits Spin or Mr Toads wild ride, but with a Simpson Road Rage theme. I also liked Gazzas idea with the coaster.
  10. I'm going today (tuesday). I've got a budget of $200 to spend, at least half towards bags.
  11. What's there to compete with, imo luna park has gone from a cool place in the 80's to a crap hole in recent years. They shouldn't have removed the big dipper (aka cyclone). What were thinking when they built cafes and function centers instead of rides?
  12. A new theme park anywhere in NSW would be good for tourism.
  13. If they do a Simpsons show instead of a ride they should close Police Academy, then they could use the arena to make new big dark ride of some sort.
  14. What no more cars?, i used to love that ride. So is this where they will put the moto-coaster or will they use this area to somehow provide access to the island.
  15. The last time i can recall the line outside would have been sometime within the first 18 months of the ride opening. The line back then was still stretched beyond the chinatown alley onto main street, and wait times were about 1 hour.
  16. No idol attraction please!!!! It would hold the park back in the same way BB @ Dreamworld does. These live shows don't always workout anyway, millionaire @ Disney parks is a good example of a bad idea. The TMNT lair idea could be cool....as long as they don't use an authentic sewer smell.
  17. If the Springfield rumor is true, then i hope they do it Disneyland Toontown style (lots of detail & gags on the facades).
  18. Anything but Harry Pot-head please!!!! That would be like going backwards for that attraction building, what it needs is something fresh/new.
  19. It wouldn't surprise me if they get the same thing as Universal parks, after what they did to include shrek. Maybe they should drop the WB name, and rebrand as Universal (since Village bought-out their share).
  20. I have read about these characters being introduced to the Seaworld chain of parks America. I don't know why we should copy, considering our park is not operated by the same company.
  21. How in the hell is that thing worth $100 million? They could have spent that much to build the movie park.
  22. It doesn't really matter when it comes to local population, just think of how many tourists would flock here just for a Disney park. I know i am dreaming like most others, but reality says: it ain't gonna happen.
  23. Where is our long promised thrill ride? As the article states this coaster will be a slower family version, i've lost all faith in this park and the direction it's headed. I don't plan on ever going to dreamworld again unless they deliver something other than family rides.
  24. They both do the same thing (going round and round) only one is slower than the other.
