Dont most rides with finnicky restraints have a greeter? One thing I noticed is that the back restraint doesn't turn 90 degrees out of the way anymore, it stays horizontal. Also, did anyone else know Intamin have finally sold another Motorbike coaster....To Fuji Q 😏 https://youtu.be/asQJfn_XStM

I was wondering how long netting would take.
-
Which of course then means how to train your dragon coaster at Motiongate Dubai well and truly counts because it's fully indoors unlike the other two
-
A new park replacing La Feria Chapultepec Magico in Mexico is getting dueling boomerangs but one is inverted. This would have been perfect if the 3rd coaster was then nthe flying Dutchman.
-
Also, FLY has that sideways dark ride section before you rotate into the flying position, which could have been a powering up sequence coming out of the Batcave. Would have been mad.
-
In that case it would be impossible to use the existing station with either the standard SFC or the standard dueling boomerangs, because the station is in the middle of the layout, so youd be hacking the building up to fit the surrounding turns and also clashing with studio admin, superman etc.
-
Is that really a good reason? Just re-theme it, then it wont look old. Busch literally recycled the station for Big Bad Wolf into Verbolten and also an old Monorail station became the station for Cheetah Hunt. SFMM are reusing the Green Lantern station for their new RMC Raptor.

Extended hours at Australian theme parks

When DCA or DL do night openings, they don't open the park at midday though. They always open early or late to provide more hours to get stuff done. Just shifting the hours is a poor mans version. -

What's the benefit in park hopping versus going on separate days? You get lunch and dinner instead of two lunches. -
Yes all hail the DW Schnitzel, its probably the best deal at any park but agree the coleslaw needs more dressing.
-
Here's the layout of the double boomerangs based on the ones at Wildpark Emmen. So you probably could snake a custom invert around the rest, and even have a station fly through. I don't think you'd be able to do the standard SFC layout threaded through, would need to be custom. The following is just speculative, there's of course heaps of land behind scooby if you wanted to do a really long layout.

I sincerely hope they don't do joker, or two face, or anything DC. Literally, Arkham had a joker statue out the front and Joker in the VR footage, and then there's another Joker figure in the DC Villains precinct, and then to complete the trifecta there's the Joker sign on top of DC Rivals (And some guests even just call it "Joker Coaster". And i get Batman/Joker merch sells well, but how much of a long term strategy is "Lets do do Batman or Joker rides because it did well last time"? Need to branch out and appeal to guests with other tastes. I wouldn't mind Tom & Jerry for the boomerang, makes sense, but where does that leave the Suspended coaster? Maybe matrix themed, but the coasters are pretty tame for that theme, and from what I've heard the new film is average. Maybe Mad Max? The two boomerangs could be some sort of pursuit and the suspended an overhead villain. My out there idea is Sonic for the suspended (And Knuckles and Tails for the boomerangs). There's a new movie coming out, and Alton Towers have had a Sonic themed coaster for years. In terms of being a coaster, It themes itself since the games were literally about this: Checkerboard pattern on the paving around the ride. Done!

Do carnival ride operators just put random movie names on their rides and hope for the best? Reminds me of this: -
Haha yes! That describes the mood up there perfectly.
-
I dont think the maintenance bay has electrical contacts no.
-
The reset mechanism motor uses supercapacitors that need charging.
-
So if its non inverting then it's just the same as Escape from Madagascar? Is that for real?
-
They need to demolish Speedys and replace it with a couple of new kids flats and maybe one central general family flat. They've gotten rid of Tazs bumper cars and put in that calming space, they've gotten rid of pounce and bounce, and of course the Marvin Maggot has been gone for years, so the kids zone is pretty threadbare imo. And it would be such a cheap bit of capital too!
-
I was addressing your comment that the layout seems to have gone backwards, which I disagree with. If I went to a park and it had a normal SLC layout and the Tripsdrill one, I'd go ride the Tripsdrill type one first because its got better flow and elements.
-
Bruh it has a zero g roll, that alone makes it better than Arkham imo. Also more fast turns and transitions. Arkham had that helix at the end which it kind of just cruised around.

All new Vekomas are good now they have updated the track system.

Movie World and Joker themed rides, name a more iconic duo trio. PS, I think MW could have maybe one more large family flat (like a dumbo or NebulaZ type thing), but on the whole new flat rides never seem to draw crowds. Never waited more than one cycle for one in Aus. If you want flat rides, go to Aussie World I guess.

Extended hours at Australian theme parks
Gazza replied to Gold Coast Amusement Force's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Not really, now is the critical time when tourism is 'reopening'. Clearly extended hours wouldn't have done much when a lot of visitors couldn't even get in the state or when event sizes were limited in 2020.
