Yes, I imagine the fin is for the brakes, the drive wheels would also utilise the brake fin (the fin goes between the two drive wheels and it forces the car along (similar to a pitching machine) What the hell do you mean about a cold day though? Not sure about the turntable though but i think the teeth system would be more likely as it would enable a small gear on the outside to turn the large gear on the outside of the turntable, acting like a force multiplier and also enabling more precise control than what a direct motor link would offer.

Hulk was built by B&M and it definitley cost more than $12 million AUD, add to that the fact the launch was a one off and B&M wont do them again (They were forced to put the launch on hulk because universal slipped that into the contract) So in short, not in a million years.

Well, since WVTP has made the 14 day super pass permanent, im more confident in going up sooner since it makes it easier to change your plans or re visit other parks if rides arent working. I think it would be smart of MW to conduct soft openings during december to make sure the whole thing works properly in time for December 26th.

Yeah, im not really interested by the PSP much, its battery life is shocking and it doesnt have the cool features the DS has. It is really just identical to PS2, only handheld so i bet it will just end up being mostly ports of PS2 games.

Well, to tell you the truth, there arent really any multi car coasters that actually go fowards and backwards on a full circut, so there arent really any other benchmarks to compare with. On expedition everest they will probably just use a larger version of reversing systems used on smaller coasters, eg a bigger turntable, a longer transfer track ect.

Cordonbleau, do you feel a bit annoyed knowing that GTA: SA is coming to XBOX? You needn't have gotten a PS2. But yeah Neb and Cordonbleau are right, the DS is just so inovative and is just so different from any other console, like, who ever heard of a game where you blow on a microphone (like in warioware) to play it, thats how different the DS is. So how do people find it trying to watch both screens at once?

Im getting mine on the 16th for my B-Day, im planning on getting WarioWare with it, is it any good, i played an in store demo. Some of the games a monkey could play, but there are so many games and its so fast, i loved it. I liked the toilet roll one, and the discus one, in fact they were all cool. So what are peoples first impressions? Are the graphics good? Is it ergonomic? Any problems?

The one shown in the photo is just a test model, they have a proper one thats 25 m high and is 211 m long, which is more in line with other ride types.

Whatever they feel like, a turn table, transfer track, junction track (like on Batwings loading station). It doesnt really matter, any of them will work. Also, have a look at this ride vehicle shot from revenge of the mummy: http://www.themeparkadventure.com/mummyo44lg.jpg ,you can see the train has two cars, and revenge of the mummy uses turntables, so there you go.

Read the first post mate. I reckon it could be good, its like a 4d, but without turns. And 4D coasters are pretty cool, maybe DW could get a 4d style ride.
