When they do have the two trains available they actually do run them on the easter, winter and September holidays too (at least when i’ve gone) and sometimes on random weekends they use to run two trains (not too sure anymore though)

Agree The ride would greatly benefit from a few million thrown at it for a refresh just to bring it back to life and update some show scenes with new technology. But quality and tasteful, not like a hat happened in Scooby.

Golden years has shared an update and my prayers have finally been answered after years of posting on here about it. The vine/weed that has wrapped around the fire of the station has finally been removed. Also, they have repainted the columns in the station to a much more traditional DW colour. What does any of that redundant ramble have to do with not being able to have a continuous station at west? And your assessment of regulators and insurance companies is inaccurate. They are extremely risk adverse now to the point that something that is extremely safe is no long enough. And it must be ridiculously safe to the point of being counter productive. That’s sadly the way it is, because no one wants another rapids. Village Parks always got a clean bill of health for safety because they took that very seriously. A faded sign has nothing to do with guest safety. Unfortunately this country will never see certain features of rides and immersiveness and efficiency again because of some very dangerous people who ran things at a single park. Thankfully those people are long gone.
