^yes its fair and a great time saver and shaun fastpasses are free they are not a extra coast what happens is you put your ticket in a fastpass machine at the front of the attraction you use. then you take your ticket out of the machine and a fastpass ticket also pops out. now say its 9:15am the ticket will tell you to come back at say between 11:15am and 12:15 to use the fastpass queue. at disneyland Indiana jones and splash mountain are the rides you must get fastpass for unless you love queues and over at DCA Soarin over California and Grizzly "on a hot day" are good ones for fastpass the only park I beleve that charges extra for fast pass are Six Flags which sounds right to me.

amen to that I just got back from DCA and I love the place sure its doesnt have loads of rides right now but its new. and Joz did you do the good attractions like muppets, bug lifes and california screamin thats where the disney magic happens. this was the 3rd time I had been to DCA and have to say to anyone out there who visits a park for the 1st time make sure you do every ride and attraction in the park before judging the park. I love Disney and this comes for someone who works at movieworld loves movieworld and IMO things Movieworld still has alot to do before it can even be considered anything like DCA. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip Joz but please go on anything in the parks before making judgements on them. And for all other members here remember there is more to a park then coaster make sure you guys enjoy attractions as well.

you are right about the disney magic, but Disneysea is something special when it comes to theming as its partly owned by disney but the major owner is a Japanese business company who have a lot of money.

just to show people what I meant by theming this is a photo I took last month of Journey to centre of earth at disneysea.

I dont really listen to these results as everyone has there own opion. But the best themed coaster in the world is Jounrey to the centre of the earth at Tokyo Disneyseas, as a matter of fact thats the best themed park as well.

Splash Mountain, POTC, Roger Rabbit, Soarin over California and Star Tours just to name a few

^agree with rich post anyway IF its a flat ride. I will go out on a limb right now and say it will be better then Cyclone. If you need proof just look at Dreamworlds current thrills and they go in this order (1) giant drop (2) TOT (3) wipeout (flatride) (4)cyclone so never say bad things about flat rides as from my local and worldwide trips I can tell you now there are some great flat thrills out there.

I went on a spinning mouse 2 weeks ago at the Santa Rosa fair in Northern California and I have on ride video footage It has 2 levels when you reach the top of the lift hill, the 1st level does the (S)? turns normally then does the second level spinning.

I just want Xcellerator the worlds best coaster

why cant all parks be like Disneysea

well when im over in the states next week, I will be going to some fairs on my travels so hoping to come across a spinning mouse. fingers crossed.

from what I know at movieworld havent heard this news so I doubt it. seen the bosses like steve and john weekly on park walk abouts. only thing that would even makes this rumor seem remotley likely is I heard from a property developer that hotel and a hospital were planed for oxenford, next to the parks now if this was to come about say in the next 5 years just like how Dreamworlds owners Mcquarrie trust (sp) are building this supercity (which is confirmed) then when that happens attendance would go up for sure as foreigners who have not been to Australia would not know they are 20 mins from surfers and 30 min from brisbane. so then six flags would become intrested. but as i said thats dowm the road not now. ************************************************************ now on to other stuff news from the park alot of digging has happen next to harry potter for the Matrix. also over the past few week attendance has been big around 6500 daily which is great. as these are normally figures for the week after xmas starting boxing day.

havent heard anything and if it was true its not a good thing as six flags are bad at running parks yes they may add rides but WBMW atmosphere would be lost. Cedar point would be great thou. If you dont beleve me take a trip to sfmm then go to Knotts Berry Farm or Cedar point or universal and you will see what I mean

yeah that helix was so intense on my face when I was last a SFMM

last week every day was around 4500 at movieworld except for sunday which was 3800. and today 5300 so sunday will be your best day. not sure of dreamworld as MW, SW and WNW offer a 3 day pass which helps, but this should give you a general idea, "those numbers are good considing during the school hoildays the discount tickets at half price arent avalible so thats alot of people. just remember get to dreamworld early because in the afternoon you will get the extra Big Brother audience.

i dont mind heights, it the sitting at the top of giant drop i hate, i would rather giant drop was like thrill shot in vegas where it launches up

I love the speed of TOT as im a speed freak, but lets be honest IMO TOT is a one trick pony meaning the 1st time you do it, it is great but after that it quiet borning in the fact that it is over to fast and you know what you are going to get. In sayin that its a great ride to have down here , I remember the 1st time I went on superman at sfmm (TOT type clone) and standing in the queue I was like man that looks scary. anyway in 30 days I will get my XCELLERATOR fix yay
