  1. Harrop, you have no proper evidence. An opinion from some coaster nerd about rides being "BoRiiiNNg11!11" is NOT evidence. Dreamworld has been falling behind in the last year because of the owners are focussing on WWW. I'm sure we will see Dreamworld get back to its previous state soon. Also, WWW does have room to expand, and it isn't just the car park. They can move a side road and build on that area. They have a lot of space. Dreamworld is still raking in thousands by thousands of guests. They have rides that no other parks have. Also, the Cyclone is a good rollercoaster - it is the largest looping coaster in the southern hemisphere. Nick Central is more entertaining than Looney Tunes - ask my 11 Year old brother.
  2. Actually "you" doesn't have a plural. The collective noun is them.
  3. SPECIAL OFFER - SECOND DAY FREE! Visit WhiteWater World from 11th - 31st January and GET A 2ND DAY FREE! There's so much to do, you'll want a second day to return... and the best news is, the second day is valid until 30th April 2007. Buy Tickets Now! Do you actually know how pissed off I am? I have been once paid full price. Been again and paid 10 dollars to go. Then I did the same again. I COULD HAVE GOT IT FOR FREE IF I HAD OF WAITED. AHHHHH. I personally think this is a good move but the park is packed enough as it is already o_o
  4. Who wouldn't? Magic Mountain ROCKS. I loooooooooooooooove it. Best park I've ever been to.
  5. It was actually one of the funnest experiences I've had in a long time.
  6. Get there half an hour early, line up. Put your sunscreen and stuff on in the line while you are waiting. Have everything ready. Bring $8 worth in coins and go straight to the coin operated lockers and chuck your stuff in. They are on the right in the guest services complex, furthest down. There are also some outside The Rip. Then once you have done that just go to Supertubes Hydrocoaster straight away. Then go to the Green Room, then The Rip. Your next best bet is trying to get on Supertubes again because the lines will just get bigger and bigger. You should be able to do these four within 20 minutes of being in the park. The park will open at 9 AM when you go so prepare to be there at around 8:30 if you really want to get the good rides in.
  7. Aww that was a cute little happy ending. I always leave my towel and thongs. They never get stolen.
  8. that happened to me on cyclone like 2 years ago. it wasnt that bad but it did hurt.
  9. That sucks for him. He obviously was not properly trained if he walked out while the ride was still running.
  10. THAT THING ROCKED. I want to go to Perth just to go on it lol.
  11. Lol, I'm sure the spaceshot would be closed. I wouldn't dare ride that in a storm anyway.
  12. How about you get a Summer Pass to go to MW and SW, and then get a world pass to WWW and DW. That's 5 days knocked out, and 5 days to do other stuff such as go shopping. Did you know the Gold Coast has the highest amount of shopping centres per capita for Australia?
  13. RAPE. Just kidding. I hate suit performers. I don't go near them. It could be like.. an middle aged freak with a beard inside it. GROSS.
  14. Nick Central is the only good part left of Dreamworld. AND even still, it's not even that good.
  15. They are advertising it as a thrill ride - "Chase the Thrill" - it's not a themed ride. And I thought the ride was excellent when I was there. Themeing does DEFINATELY not take away from the ride. It is such a great ride!
  16. I haven't ridden Tatsu, it was under construction when I went But yeah I really do think that a flying coaster would fit into Dreamworld well. They definately need something big. It's getting too late.
  17. Storms shut down all the rides at WnW and most at other parks.
  18. Australian firsts for sure. Guests are looking for something new at different parks. The rids are what decides whether they visit Wet'n'Wild or WhiteWater World; or Movie World or Dreamworld! If there are Aussie firsts they will certainly visit these parks because there is more of a variety on offer and a new experience that can't be achieved anywhere else.
  19. No idea. It would be on a diagonal angle with the top section turning onto the station.. like the raft unloading station on Supertubes Hydrocoaster.
  20. Personally, I have ridden Goliath at SFMM and it was amazing. But, I don't see it fitting in Dreamworld. It's more of an addition rather than something new, if you know what I mean. I guess what I'm trying to say is that a coaster like Goliath isn't exactly what Dreamworld should be looking for. We can't expect that from an Australian park. Dreamworld haven't established themselves to take this sort of ride on board. I think the best coaster for Dreamworld would be a standup or lay-down coaster. Many Australians would not expect this sort of coaster from a park. They need to go with something outrageous and something that will shock the general public who haven't heard of "a rollercoaster like that before".
  21. Go really early and get on all the slides. At least you can say you've been on them all.
  22. Yeah its 100% worth the entry. Speaking from experience.
  23. I went on it yesterday. It didn't seem as bad on the red car as it did on the blue car. The blue car hurt like a bitch.
  24. I could see a Boomerang fitting in somewhere at Dreamworld. But I don't want one. I want a big, Aussie first that doesn't cost too much money. Something good!
