  1. And then they could Re-Name the TOT & Completely Re-Theme the ride to go with the area. Hey Just an idea. That way TOT would have an actual area.
  2. I Agree with Mark and Richard there. It does look like an awsome ride but it looks hidious and capacity issues would even be worse that ToT or Cyclone.
  3. In that article, but in the Telegrapgh, they also mentioned about Tomb Raider and how muh of a sucsess it was & they would seriously think about dealing with them again. Can you see what i'm getting at here. They could put a TR ride on the island there, and to access you have to use the boat, and it would constantly run. They could also re-theme the area to Tomb Raider and open the show again.
  4. Thanks for clearing that up Rich. I thought i was going crazy.
  5. Hey Guys. Check out this new Coaster. Tsunami at some international park. I thought Wooden Roller-Coasters were meant to contain mostly wood. Thus the name "Wooden Roller-Coaster". From what i have heard is that the only Non Metal substances are the nails and track. Correct me if i'm wrong. Well anyway, here's the link. Also check out the Construction shots to get a better view.
  6. That's what i was thinking when i heard that they were going to make a tribute to the ride. I even thought that they may make a model loop (Slightly smaller than the original) and make it a memorial there. Because the Original loops are a bit to big to put in the Pond.
  7. Yes. What does this have to do with Wonderland? Be Carefull. Richard might actually read the forums and tell one of you guys off. Just a Warning. I've seen it happen before.
  8. That will be one awsomely cool ride. Sometimes i wish i that i will eventually go overseas to al the majourly cool parks. But that will never happen.
  9. Do your models have real lights on the ride like you see at the shows? I guess probably not but?
  10. It's not going to be a very big gyro is it. I mean judging from Richards pictures on the site, i'd think it would be a decent size gondola, jut judging from DR Teeths images, i feel that there not as big as i originally thought it was going to be.
  11. Hey Guys. For everyone who is interested, there is an official E-Mail from Simon Worthington from Skycoaster.
  12. Hey. I'm just giving a reaction to zordy's announcment. Whic reminds me, Zordy, where did you get the information from?
  13. That "close to 200" Thread, and the post richard posted reminded me of something to ask you guys. Did Dreamworld end up keeping the Thunderbolt Loops and make a memorial, or in fact did they keep them at all? Or did they take them to the tip? Becuase i remember they were talking about making a memorial somwhere in the park that had a train carraige with the loop behind it saying "R.I.P Thunderbolt. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are today". Or something like that.
  14. Now the only reason for that Brady, is because QLD has a government that supports everyone. If a park want's to close because of Finnancial Difficulty, the government will help them out. All th other states and territories go: If you want to build a tourist attraction, you will have to do everything yourself. We won't help you at all. That's why Canberra's Downunderland is in such dispair. And if N.S.W was governed by the people that govern Qld, it wouldn't have closed because the government would have supported and said: No don't close. We'll help you.
  15. The family just went down there last summer at the Timeshare Resort just before the bridge. Can't think of the name, but yeah. It looks spanish. Now That place your reffering to is Tun - Za - Fun. It consists of; Mini Golf, Train, Krazy Kars, merry-go-round, and 50's style car Dodgems. The slides are descent and are looked after nicley. I prefer the one on the Mulwala side as it has tree's covering the slides. Really, their almost the same design, but the one on Yarrawonga side is not as good. But we won't be going back their again. Our Bikes which were on the back of our car, where stolen within 5 minutes of arriving their. I have nothing against victoria. It's just Yarrawonga which i hate. On my list of states, victoria would be 2nd on my list of best states in Aus. But First would have to be Qld. No doubt about that.
  16. Who's going to this years Brisbane Exhibition? I have never been to EKKA (but i will some-day) and i was wondering what it's like their? For Instance: Prices, What's There and most important of all. Is it worth it? Plus many more i have forgotten.
  17. Finally someone understands what i'm rambling on about. Yeah those slides have opening times. And the times depend on the season. Ie: Summer not holidays, Summer Hollidays. That sort of thing.
  18. Visit here.http://travel.discovery.com/guides/video/c...peedvision.html
  19. They could even buy the Beach, and add the Bush Beast as an added roller-coaster. Something like; Visit "The Beach" Waterpark and visit the latest attraction. Australia's Only Wooden Roller-coaster. See & Ride it only at "The Beach" Water Park.
  20. Nice Improvement Richard. This Update seperates the difference (In terms of layout as such) between the Park Database & the Galleries.
  21. That's Really Good to hear. Finally theirs some postive news about wonderland. I know that it doesn't mean the park will re-open, but what they could do is like what is happening at Yarrawonga/ Mulwala and Surrounds. A company owns a couple of waterslides here and their around the lake, no where near a pool, just slides (1 in each reserve approx) with a fence, and grass. No Pools, just a waterslide in the reserve. That's what can happen to the Bush Beast. Some one can buy the land that the Bush Beast is on and open it to the public for like $3 a ride. Also How long would it take for a standard heritage order to go through anyone? I am not familiar with the process.
  22. Hey Piro Man, Did you end up getting any clips for your Tribute?
  23. Do you have that video on you computer to upload somewhere?
  24. But in real life it does. Doesn't it?
