  1. Don't you get what i'm saying Movie World should have a Backlot Tour. Without it it is not Movie World. It's Old Rundown, Crap Movie World.
  2. To tell you the truth, i really think Movie World is a smack bang rip-off. When there are shows (i think 1 or 3) they are allright, when there is a ride (WWF, BTR, LW, SDSC) they are above average for an Australian Park in terms of themeing. But there are not enough of them. I mean when people go to "Hollywood on the Goldcoast", they should be able to see the studio tour. I went to movie world in 2002, (when they were constructing SDSC) and i was very disappointed. I expected to be able to go on studio tours like i have heard of about Universal Studios in the US. It looked nothing like i'd expected it to, and Warner Village Theme Parks should be ashamed of themselves. If you haven't already, visit the Total Thrills Gallery of Universal Studios, and you'll see what a movie studio should look like

  4. But why would ING do work on the snowy, if 1. they are going to turn it into a industrial estate? 2. and it can't moved to another park, only the boat's Can someone please shed the light
  5. Hey Nightshifter and Sean, where's those photo's you were going to post up?
  6. Was this after they closed down?
  7. Sea World has hardly any rides whatsoever and your saying that Sea World is the best place for thrills? When was the last time since Sea World added a new ride? Sea World, is more of a water/animal park which is what they mostly concentrate on. It's like a Zoo with a couple of rides. I'm not saying that Sea World is not a good park, i really like Sea World and used to go there all the time when i was young, but when compareing it to Dreamworld for Thrills, well then you have to get your sources right. Sea World has a great atmosphere but they could do a little bit more than what they are currently doing to the place.
  8. 1 - Disney World 2 - Paramount KING Island 3 - Alton Towers 4 - Cedar Point 5 - Six Flags Texas 6 - Six Flags Magic Mountain I can only name six. But that's only because i have never been outside of Australia, and am listing from what i have heard.
  9. Have you got anymore of those sorts of video's done or in the works or thinking about making another?
  10. Basically they cancel each other out (Dreamworld & Movieworld).
  11. Around 19 to be exact (Including Wonderland's Rides which are in operating state).
  12. Botany's theming wasn't to great. all they basically had was a stone edge for the i suppose you can call it a fence around the queline area with a tin roof. It wasn't anything special. but then again wonderland managment (Steven Galbraith) did absolutolly nothing while he was in managment and when wonderland first opened, theming was a thing for the future. All people wanted was some fun on a ride. What i am basically trying to say is that Steven Galbraith never kept the park in the present day in age. He just kept it in the past.
  13. Is this the same ride as the "Gyro Swing"?
  14. El Caballo Blanco didn't have anything that sean has mentioned.
  15. There's a whole list of the land openings and such in the History part of Dreamworlds Website.
  16. I totally agree with you GoBoi. Also a Decent theme park (like those seen on the GC) would never survive in Sydney. The Carr Government is Slack and would not be a good idea for a new park to open in Sydney. As i would like to see one open, i doubt it will happen. THe Carr Government is the slackest government inthe world and all they do is turn their back on them and making everyone dissapointed in Sydney.
  17. Looks Great! I would love to see it in action by a video when it's complete.
  18. nah mate. it's cool. Thanks for the effort.
