  1. I'm glad my ticket turned into a $10.00 donation to DW and I decided not to go. Being in that weather at a theme park, is not my idea of fun.
  2. Don't sweat it @Ashthere is more stuff on the way for the temple.
  3. This is correct which makes me sceptical, if the ride is coming down.
  4. Afterpay becomes a debt the second you owe Afterpay money. Owing Telstra $1400.00 for a phone is a debt. The moment you put your theme park tickets on Afterpay you are in debt to Afterpay to pay that money back. AI tells us. Debt is when one party, the debtor (@Brad2912), owes money to another party (Afterpay), the creditor.
  5. @Brad2912It's debt. When you apply for a homeloan banks take the view people who use Afterpay can't manage money and it can go against you getting a loan. Some banks have been known to ask you to close your Afterpay account before they will issue a loan. Afterpay even has a whole Q&A on how to shutdown Afterpay when asked to by your bank.
  6. The responsible management of cash flow is, don't spend more than your pay packet. 🤷‍♀️ Don't care if you're using Afterpay, none of my business, but you're lying to yourself if you believe it's a responsible way of managing cash flow.
  7. @DaptoFunlandGuystop direct messaging me. I gave you the opportunity to say your kind words to my face, but you wouldn't have a bar of it.
  8. I hope you're not wasting your time by replying to me. 🤷‍♀️
  9. On the contrary, it is DW taking the theme park enthusiast, who want a Lazy River out of context, no theme park enthusiast wants a barren concrete Lazy River. WnW: by all reports, about to install new slides. WWW: 🦗 If your using Afterpay for anything, you're living above your means.
  10. DW management have previously said they are not looking at building a Lazy River because blah, blah, blah, DW likes to have unique experiences, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, something like that. Imagine WWW not having a wave pool because down the road had one and you only wanted to install unique experiences. I say: Sometimes experiences are good enough to do your own take on them, even if the enemy have one. What slide is better than a Lazy River that caters for the whole family?
  11. A bit hard to have a EOFY sale for WWW when WWW will be closed.
  12. Do you have a reason @Ash? I always knew Rivertown would come with a gate price increase, but I don't know why WWW should get one.
  13. TS & kFF downtime doesn't look like annual maintenance.
  14. @Brad2912I agree. People definitely ride it for the first time, not knowing what they are in for, where for me, JR looks more intimidating. @Levioperations of JR is world class but DW needs to come up better solution for loose items boxes. I have never witnessed a staff member sliding the doors.
  15. I'm starting to believe JR missed the mark with the attended audience. The few times I have visited JR, I have noted, the trains are almost full of adults. Where have all the kids gone who should be riding the family attractions? In comparison to Scooby, the make-up of the guest in the queue is different. I'm wondering if the realism of the theming is scaring kids off or is it children seeing the external section of the ride causing them to have second thoughts. The 9 times I have queued for JR I have seen families retreating out of the queue. The old chicken gate would come in handy here. It's something that might change in the future as more kids ride JR and they realise what a great little ride it is. This just been my experience while riding it.
  16. In theory you might be able to straight line the track after the station, but the queue could be an issue to solve.
