  1. The DA application is at its infancy and reads more like the developers are fishing before they go all in because the documentation is light on. (What you would expect at this point of an application) I’ve attached relevant parts of the application regarding the theme park. Theme park components projected to attract between 1 million and 1.2 million visitors annually.  Theme Park (Tourist Attraction) – approximately 32,075m² of area, providing a major indoor and outdoor multi-activity entertainment offering. The theme park will feature a combination of rides, attractions, and immersive experiences that appeal to domestic and international visitors. These attractions will include an outdoor component providing attractions similar to those found on the northern Gold Coast, as well as an indoor theme park consisting of four separate halls with interactive entertainment and educational exhibits utilising next generation technology offerings like virtual reality across themes including sustainability, innovation and underwater life. 5.5.4 GOLD COAST THEME PARK NETWORK (AUSTRALIA) Within the domestic context, the Gold Coast network (comprising Dreamworld, Sea World, Movie World, Wet ’n’ Wild, and associated resorts) records approximately 5.4 million visitors per year. This network demonstrates the economic and employment benefits of multi-park ecosystems and diversified leisure offerings. Infinity Planet extends this by incorporating cultural, technological, and educational elements not yet realised at scale in Australia. The project takes inspiration from other major world theme parks such as Global Village Dubai, and plans are similar to EPCOT in the United States and Ba Na Hills in Vietnam, including pavilions showcasing world culture and architecture, live performances as well as traditional theme park attractions • Outdoor theme park with rides rollercoasters and attractions • • Indoor theme park with four virtual reality and aquarium experiences
  2. People travel a long distance to visit Australia Zoo so if the theme park is a great theme park people will travel for it. (but there has been no indication it will be a great park) Wrapping a heavy commercial application with talk of a theme park is 100% referred to, for getting the public behind it. Songcheng Theme Park, Dreamworld expansion and now Infinity Planet.
  3. During the announcement on the news yesterday, everyone was eating cake, therefore it’s a done deal.
  4. I'm not about to get into another back and forth with you, so this will be my last comment on putting the cart before the horse or you wearing your undies on the outside. You can reply and I will read but I won’t comment further. Turning the entrance to the front of the precinct dimensions the need for the precinct. The precinct is the pre-show to the ride. Unless you’re an ant you can see the sign as you enter the ride just fine.
  5. Doomsday was the name of the ride not the precinct. Why wouldn't you put the name of the ride at the entry of the ride?
  6. Probably should have been filmed across the road but I can understand why it wasn’t with another reality show currently being produced across the road.
  7. WWW is never ending missed opportunities. 😢 But SW hours are even more cuckoo. 😱
  8. Who's buying a ride that doesn't already comply to Aust regs?
  9. I went last year to every park, the week before Christmas and didn't find one busy park. 🤷‍♀️

  11. @DaptoFunlandGuyI always find the parks leading up to Christmas are always quiet, even though the kids are on holidays.
  12. The people behind the project have prove in the pudding with commercial developments, unlike the developers of Actventure. Commercial developments always have complexities and industry pressures before you can turn soil, if this project doesn't get off the ground, it won't because of lack of 💰.
  13. I'm sorry, you're having issues contacting us. The complants department will be open in December, to take your call.
  14. No silly, kids don't go to school on the weekends. No silly, they will get it at a bulk price, which is more than what the person who attends WWW on Saturday on a season pass. Never asked, I was driving! and a bit creepy a for me to start talking to school kids. Don't know, but very common at this time of the year for the parks to be filled with school kids. My child's school went to DW. If the bus doesn't go to your park, your park is shit. Any further questions can be sent to skeeta@savewhitewaterworld.com.au 🏊‍♂️
  15. CEH AGM today. I didn't see one mention of WWW. 😢 I didn't see one picture of WWW, in the presentation. 😢 Map supplied in case the bigwigs want to know the location of WWW. //s (drove past WnW today and witnessed school kids exiting the bus @DaptoFunlandGuy to go to a water park, on a school day). KIDS AT A WATER PARK! ON A SCHOOL DAY! FUCK ME, I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT EITHER AND ALMOST CAUSED A CRASH, WHEN I TOOK A DOUBLE TAKE @DaptoFunlandGuy.
