Disneyland don't always double fence. Temporary fence with doors and no signage. Same doors painted yellow from inside the site. Today -

Health and safety laws require that people on or near construction sites are warned of all hazardous activities taking place. Before any construction work begins, builders must ensure that an adequate number of general safety signs, depending on the size and complexity of the job site, are erected at the workplace. A work health and safety (WHS) management plan is also required. According to current health and safety laws, before work begins the builder (i.e. the principal contractor) must prepare a WHS management plan for any workplace where the value of construction work exceeds $250,000. These are Queensland laws and all states differ. Apparently, us Queenslanders need to be told a construction site can be dangerous. -
It was approved in April to be built. I'm hoping AW will talk about it tomorrow.

Interesting colour lifecycle. Hopefully MW are going to complete the paint job by repainting the trims too. -

I know what it's meant to be used for. When nobody is using it for a photo which nobody was in the photo it looks like a jack hammer stuck in the sidewalk. If they want something realistic they could go with this. </sarcasm> Or nothing says NYC like chewing gum. </sarcasm> -

I've been to NYC a few times and have never seen a jack hammer randomly stuck in the sidewalk. -

I know the plans were different six months ago. You might have had a hand in it and unless DW says we will never know. Ardent finding out Brisbane was about to get a simulator might have forced DW to take out the competition by taking on the project. The good thing about the idea you had before it was announced is "it was a good one". -

@Roachie People have been wanting Soarin at DW for as long as I can remember. DW going with I-Ride has more to do with it stealing it from Brisbane because it was ready to go. Brogent had everything in place and was about to build it themselfs in Brisbane for 20mil with Brogents own money. DW came alone and struck a deal to move the project to DW. November 3 2017 the Lord Mayor believed he had the project in the bag. -

@Minions! I-Ride is opening up at the end of 2018 and I believe the new dark ride is for 2019/2020. -
I don't think Dr Weisis is the one calling WWW a sister park. "Mr Weiss also mooted a new “dark” attraction on the site of the long-closed mine ride, new attractions for children and significant expansion at sister park WhiteWater World". Moving on - Who remembers stage 3 for WWW that never got off the ground. A major expansion to WWW would be great and well overdue. In reality, I would bank on one new slide tower.

@pushbutton have I got a Christmas gift for you? No! but on the news last night the lady who purchased the Oasis monorail is selling it in sections. You can be an owner of a full carriage for $2000.00. How good would it be in your living room? I asked my wife if I could turn one into a bar and she wasn't keen on the idea.

Ha Ha Ha. I would hit my head on the bar getting in and out. Personally, I would have gone with Knotts system of sensors telling riders to sit down. Wouldn't look like shit either. Could these cages be used only to lift the logs in and out of the ride trough? -
