What do people think about a Zip coaster for Scenic World?

World Expo Fun park ran a competition on how many rides you could ride in a night. I thought I was smart and because the park was quiet, I asked the ride attendant if I could stay on the Supernova. I only had to line up a few times the whole night. Before every dispatch the ride attendant would stamp my card. At the end of the night I ran to guest services so sure I would win a prize, I think I even broke into a half-skip. The person asked me what rides I rode. I told him the Supernova and I think I had a big grin across my face. He asked me and what else. When I proceeded to tell him, I had ridden the coaster over 50 times he laughed at me. This is when he pointed out, I was meant to ride every ride in the park once to get a prize.

@AlexB 5% is an improvement and Ardent are also saying “Revenues for the month of June were impacted as Victoria school holidays commenced on 1 July 2017 whereas in the previous year they commenced on 25 June 2016, 6 days earlier. This was partially compensated by Queensland school holidays which commenced on 24 June 2017 compared to 25 June 2016.”. July should be better for DW if what Ardent is saying is true. @AlexB Why not take the long way?

I would feel a bit stiffed too. If it makes you feel any better $109.00 is a cheap price for a year pass to DW. Around one week ago DW was selling the park after dark passes for $39.00 and now they are down to $29.00. The last after dark night I purchased 4 tickets for $10.00 each 2 days before the night. At the moment if people are buying ticket to DW’s events and they want to save some money it might be worth your while to hold off.

Given that it’s the same company that’s managing the Hyper coaster build at MW issuing the tender to design and not DW. Is it possible this company has already secured the contract to build stage 2 and DW has asked them to add onto it? I see two possibilities here. 1. Stage 2 is ready to go but now DW want to add to it. 2. The original stage 2 plans have been scraped and they have gone back to the drawing board. (Thoughts have changed after reading Richards comments and doing more research) After finding this I now believe the laboratory to be part of the first vision. Because it says included in DW stage 2 I still hope there is more to stage 2 then a laboratory

Even thou this tender says it's for stage 2 my gut saying it's stage 2b and it might be a direct reaction to the new Jellies research area at SW.

Dreamworld has put out a tender for Corroboree Stage 2. I thought this was a project for this year but after reading the tender it hasn't been designed yet. Now I'm not so sure. Project: Dreamworld Corroboree Stage 2 (Future Labs) - D+C This project involves construction of the Corroboree Future Lab (Stage 2) of the Corroboree upgrade and is an integral component of Dreamworld's commitment to research and preservation of endangered species. This working and interactive Lab will provide public attraction to educate and inspire guests, students and researchers. The Lab is proposing to initially study koalas, bilbies and tigers. This is a Design and Construct project; therefore documentation is not fully completed as yet.
