  1. WWW had the same excuse last year for The Bro. "The Bro is having problems with the main circulating pumps with the required pressure not high enough to run the slides" @HarryHeHe8it doesn't matter how many coats of paint they add. WWW is old & tired. WWW hasn't opened a new slide for 6 years and 71% of WWW attraction are over 19 years old.
  2. Go and have a look today, on this beautiful sunny Gold Coast day @themagician
  3. Did anyone really believe WWW would be ready for opening?
  4. I hope your wrong and MW do a soft opening first.
  5. More people would go to the Night Market and this would be less of a issue if the Night Market opening nights, wasn't all over the place. DW are chasing their tails with this one.
  6. Wouldn't cutting the shed into 2 give production its own space?
  7. Why can't the production team take up the other half of the shed? The original BB building was 700sqm. The current DW building is 1500sqm.
  8. I know ST wasn't designed for it @DaptoFunlandGuybecause I have a maintenance manual for the Bluefire coaster. All DW are dong is breaking down the maintenance into smaller parts over a year. I've never seen one manual telling you to shut the ride down for months to carry out maintenance.
  9. DW has proven with ST that they can maintain a ride without closing it down. PLUS, we have seen flexibility in maintenance at DW before. I think you might we onto something that the Big Brother deal was rushed. @Brad2912 maybe the live shows will be in this undercover area.
  10. Simple! DW should have pushed the maintenance back by a few months.
  11. SafeWork SA have had bans overturned in the past. I'm starting to think not only do they have to be independent but they have to be different types of locking mechanism.
  12. The island was more than the show. The handlers on the island all day, interacting with the tigers and guest, can never be replaced by looking at tigers through a window.
  13. I agree @DaptoFunlandGuy, DW is starting to get some good foot traffic through the park now, it would be a shame if DW were purposefully closing an experience.
  14. I don't know if every sign has been replaced yet because the image I posted was from the school across the road who were invited for the opening. When DW first opened, every ride had a sponsorship.
  15. Our Country in Sydney. (it's been around Australia) The Grand Opening of Wild.
  16. That isn't the place I'm talking about. The Gold Coast Kart club was a proper/official racing track, not a place you could rock up to and pay to have a turn.
  17. I don't mind it if everyone in the audience takes part but I find individual audience participation only entertaining for the participant and the family/friends of the participant.
