... And with that, I'm glad I brought a 99 dollar world pass again and not a QLD VIP pass. I'm sorry but there isn't really an excuse for this happening, unless there was some major mechanical issues that I didn't know about. Bermuda Triangle has always been one of the most popular rides in the park... a massive capacity eater (when ran with the revolving deck etc.) and by far the best themed attraction in Australia! I can not believe WVTP have let the ride get into the state that it got into... and to be honest i'm rather pissed off with this decision. I have not been to a WVTP property (bar Halloween) since early in the year... and right now I don't really plan to go back.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The Reef Diver is only 10 years old though (replaced in 2000 with the old model in storage at Downunderland in Canberra) so it's not like it's passed it's use by so to speak. I am more interested to see what happens with the IMAX though... considering the Kodak shop is only used for Q4U now and could easily be moved elsewhere... Combine that shop, the IMAX and the eureka site and if needed extend over the rapids dam and there is quite a decent chunk of land for a new attraction.

They might be doing an upgrade of the IMAX Theatre and possibly something with Eureka's site for the 30th birthday... "The Imax theatre will be closed from November 22nd. Improvements coming soon" It also appears that the Reef Diver is down for unscheduled maintenance as well... "Reef Diver closed until advised"

Dreamworld has still been packed despite the crowds. The ride is alot quicker to restart after the rain as they don't need to dry down the track. So pretty much as soon as it stops raining they will run the ride, it has also operated during a sprinkle though so it's not as tempremental. I went on Thursday and the park was PACKED. I have a Max Action Pass and it still took 35 minutes to get into the park. Each thrill ride had roughly 4 operators. Lines were as follows: ToT2: 2 hours approx Claw: 30 mins Wipeout: 30 mins Cyclone: 1.5 Hours Giant Drop: 30 mins Motocoaster: 1.5 hours (1 train) Overall I think Tower of Terror 2 is a very decent upgrade and i'll do a more in depth review in a few days.

Wow, the ride really does look great along with the AquaLoop. It's also interesting to see that they finally built that proposed Ferris Wheel.

At least there isn't a huge arsed windshield in your face now...

It was only a holiday ride, operated by Goldenway Amusements. I would say it hasn't been back at Luna Park because one of the operators was struck by the ride as he was standing in the motion path of the ride.

I know one ride that will be attending, and that is Trindall's Cyber Party. Has attended for the last 3 years now.

At least Dreamworld has themed the upcharge attractions a little bit. Personally I don't have an issue with Flowrider, but Redline is a bit meh for me. Bungee Tramp's are one of the worst upcharge attractions they could have possibly decided on for Movie World and Wet n Wild. I find it interesting that Dreamworld and WhiteWater World are trying to pick up the game, and we see Warner Village making the same mistakes Dreamworld made several years ago.

It's been YoGo for the last 2 - 3 years. And before it was Channel Ten I think.

Went to Dreamworld today, didn't get any pics though. But there has been some internal work done to the theming so far. The skull has been repainted and looks 110% and inside the "refrigerator" as it's been aptly called for ages, now has some plywood walls over it and painted grey. The 2 foyer's are also getting this treatment so it seems and will hopefully have some theming installed over the 4 week's of downtime. Also the city scene has been removed from underneath you, and the lights switched off. There also has been a tiny bit of work done in the 2 loading rooms and the exit of the ride. Another random thing that was interesting today was The Claw was running with ONE staff member all day, and 3 on the Wipeout... I didn't think that The Claw would normally run with less than 2 operators.

I don't know for sure, but I will ask my friend and try to find out for you

An eerie silence lasts for just milliseconds before the car blasts backwards rocketing guests out of a 206 metre tunnel at rapid speed. If it was going to be any of them, I'd suspect it would be the MuppetVison one to be honest... Maybe Terminator. I don't see it being Pirates 4D as I assume that's the same show that used to be at Sea World?

As it has been stated, this could have been in the pipelines for quite a while and probably isn't to do with the movie "Grown Up's" A lot of theme parks have these Zip Lines and are becoming more mainstream. They probably got it from the same supplier as the new ropes course at Sea World so it would be done on the cheap.

Or possibly Sunway Lagoon that also has a Zip Line landing in the wave pool below. All they do is have a small area (3 to 4m squared) roped off for the landing zone.

Most of the rides are around the 7 - 8 Dollar mark, and RNA policy states that rides have to go for a minimum of 120 seconds (Except obviously Mega Drop and the Roller-Coasters) before they are even allowed onto the show site. The only rides that generally pass the 10 dollar mark are the "Extreme" rides like Speed, No Limit, Slingshot etc.

Great pics, it really does look quite tall and will be very impressive from the motorway. I was half thinking until the Press Images came out that the loops were going to be in a cloverleaf formation but this looks a lot more appealing visually than first thought.
