I'd love to see a robot coaster. Let's not forget a top spin and space shot. They're much cheaper than a roller coaster and much less of a foot print. You could fit more then one flat rides in the same area as one roller coaster pretty much.
-
You sound like you were riding as a guest. Not a staff member who would know this - Plus I can assure you LW wouldn't be the only coaster with a motor on the back of the train. It would be a design seen worldwide. And if that was the case, members in this forum would know about it.
-
I think Ekka is one of the biggest rip-offs since WhiteWater World opened. Seriously, it's just so damn expensive!

What would you do if 'you' owned or managed DW?

FlowRider was working yesterday. -
If they had a license deal wouldn't they be using the same name too?

Replace Wipeout!?!?! That's one of my favourite rides at DW. Repair it yes. Re-theme it, Why not? But why would you replace it? -
I will try my best to head down to Movie World this weekend and snap some pictures. Hopefully by then we can see some examples of what the roof will look like.
-
I don't know who the source was. I got an email stating they were a MyFun staff member but no name was given. The information was clearly fake.
-
I personally think they look ugly because they're old and look crappy. I would like to seem them replaced with slimmer versions seen at USH. ATM they're just quiet random with some not even facing the street. Either fix them up or remove them Movie World.
-
I hope they remove those ugly 'movie' style lights they currently have. On a funnier side, someone told me the poles were for a B&M coaster - not a roof...
-
The date did throw me. Although the date (2010) seemed like a ideal time for a roller coaster to be built. It was at the top of the list... and everything seemed in date order. I just assumed there was a error in the dates. My bad - better luck next time PS: Funny post Richard

Here's a screenshot. I would not post fake news. Jeez, even ScreamScape posts news with less information than this...
-
I hope they jazz the poles up...
-
Thanks Gazza. With those shades, they have round poles. The same poles that seem to be being fitted into Main Street. (From looking at pictures of the base) I am now worried it may not be a fully enclosed roof.

What did you search to find that ^ I can't see it...

Starch - Scratch God help us all. I should have known better than to spell a word wrong.

More Wonderland Memorabilia in unusual places...

Wow, for a second I thought they were pictures of Dreamworld. -
I've gone one better. I have the MW and DW-WWW 2 year pass. Anyways, I think Dreamworld needs to (as Blake says) 'micromanage' their park. So many parts need to be TOTALLY re-done from starch. If that was downe, it would return to being "Australia's Disneyland" - Well, as close as we are gonna' get anytime soon. Do yourself a favor and do the Motocoaster at least once. It's a fun coaster nonetheless but not worth a huge wait.

Big Brother Axed.. what will happen to DW?
BNErider replied to stardust's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Dreamworld will keep the house for a while to attract some more people through the gates and then will be knocked down. The theater will then be used for functions once tours have lacked interest. IMO that's what will happen. -
That sums up what I've been seeing lately on the ride as well.
-
Call me crazy but I liked the old design much better.

Someone needs to get off the crack...

Some idiot told me that Cyclone would get 3 trains. EDIT: Can you delete the posts that simply say 'lol'?

What's with the lack of dark rides in Australia
BNErider replied to Boysenberry's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Since when is a roller coaster not classed as a ride? IMO, Scooby Doo is a dark ride... If you like dark rides so much, then just go on Superman Escape and close your eyes? By the same token, is Looney Tunes not a dark ride? Is it a water ride? -
Being stuck on the chairlift at Wonderland for ages due to high winds. I was only a kid at the time but I still remember it clearly.
