  1. Very excited to hear Ben and Jerry's is taking over the Streets/Music Man Ice Cream parlour. I hope we see Ben and Jerry's over at other VRTP locations eventually, I have always thought theme parks need more "special/unique" food.
  2. Any noticeable construction on the former IMAX/Dreamworld Cinema?
  3. Construction is well underway on Artic Penguin Display, they are also advertising for Photos can be found over at my Flickr, on another note the very well themed castaway bay has suffered it's first "loss" The "Targets" are no longer well themed, but actually are Target logo that looks horrible See here. They needed to make it more obvious they are targets ect. but why not a sign in the que line instead?
  4. I was originally informed it was the new location for Oakley Creek Farm Show, so I am going to hazard a guess it will.
  5. So far the lineup for White Christmas at Movie World is looking like... - Full Blog Post Glistening White Snow (Main St.) A million fairy lights Christmas Characters including Santa Polar Express 4-D Ice Skating Looney Tunes on Ice Dazzling Christmas Parade Ice Skating is for guests too I am fairly confident... I would hazard a guess (could be wrong) that LT on Ice will be in the show stage area.. Also wondering this...
  6. I am very interested to see what happens with Bermuda, have done a detailed blog post as always In WVTP's defence, it does not appear as if this was a planned closure as evidenced by plans originally being maintenance. WVTP have also made solid additions to the parks this year with Castaway Bay, penguins incoming and AquaLoops. In addition to a solid Halloween and upcoming Xmas event.
  7. I hoped/speculated a Bush Ranger Show, however have confirmed with several it is the new location for Oakley Creek Farm show. I have a shot from back on the 27th of last month, obviously a lot has happend/changed so hopefully someone can take a photo soon
  8. The que line has been worked on since original launch, there is now a slight story line (shown on 3 TV's). Some red strip lighting and more, nothing extensive but better than nothing. People will buy anything, I bought a "Big 6" shirt the other day for $12ish ($19.95 minus 40% discount) and I am not sure if it was worth it
  9. Good to hear "improvement coming soon" for IMAX, it is in such horrible shape at present... Marketplace is also closed at present/being upgraded. When I was there on saturday, no entry/only pass outs through Marketplace. The former helicopter office is the Annual Pass processing center. Q4U outlet had temporarily taken over return passes/stroller/wheelchair hire. In addition to Illuminate returning, I hear the Aboriginal Show is also coming back. Anyone know what is happening with Dora Sea Planes, been closed since April 27....
  10. If your trip isnt till April you could wait to purchase, the offers change frequently all the time. Currently you can get a $99 Pass that gives you a year (Nov 2011), and starting December/Online now, is the $69 Summer Passport that gives you unlimited till July 30.
  11. I just did a small post on the SAW maze and hopefully will have a interview with Lynton Harris soon. Anybody else agree that MW have created a solid foundation for next year
  12. I know Oakley Creek Farm show is being expanded....
  13. Whilst I am sure some guests enjoyed it, everyone I spoke to thought it was more a tacky "circus" act, I mean sticking your tongue into a moving fan, walking on knives ect.. It was not up to the standards of Moto X, The Offering or even Thriller Dance in my opinion.
  14. I agree it should stay at Wet N Wild, but Sea World does need something for the former location of the Pirate Ship. Just like Eureka at Dreamworld a common comment I hear from guests is "where is the pirate ship".
  15. Went again for the final night last night, was not very busy and the mazes were pretty much a walk on, seemed to be even more scare actors roaming the streets ect. Best part was I managed to go behind the scenes of Saw and even enter the bathroom and have a fairly long chat with Lynton Harris. They have really built a solid foundation for next year, I just hope they do not bring back the "Freak Show", only real negative of the night.
  16. I am going to make a guess it is just matinence... Bermuda Triangle did not list a end date originally for its scheduled matience and now does
  17. Remember the Roulette Wheel? Now Stingray
  18. I would suggest heading to SAW first, then Freddy and get the "best" done as soon as you enter the park, Saw is out near WWF so is the shortest que at opening.
  19. I noticed heaps more scare actors and small refinements since I went on the first night, was Journey open the first friday/cheap night? I cant remember it being open.
  20. What has changed/improved with Scooby? Went last night, huge lines for Saw especially the line went back to the WWF entry. JTTCOTE was open too to help with numbers I guess.
  21. For some photos check out my trip repor, some more on my Flickr too.
  22. I am not sure if this is for all pass holder renewing or what the eligibility is apart from it is being offered to those with the $99 pass expiring on various dates in October and also December 24. I got this offer in park and it has 10% off Merch also.
  23. ^ Yep.... Can anybody offer a "review" on The Offering, (the only thing I missed). Will be heading back on the 23rd...
  24. Agreed, I have poor Optus reception throughout the Park, Rail Station and BP. Also dont worry about a big building or anything guys, it might not even have a building. I have seen Telstra cell "Towers" attached to street light poles.
