Totally agree... However my 4 yo son absolutely loves destroying that car over and over Im liking Captain Cold... More just for solving the puzzle right when someone is taking a photo at the back of the truck... Appearance wise though has to be between Poison Ivy and Scarecrow...

Just got off this and have to admit the train section looks great... TBH the rest is underwhelming... First turntable ghosts showing default tv screen... Falling rocks sitting still... Explosion after going past already broken bridge is a wtf... Smoke from Indian campfire not working... Population sign does not swing for reveal... Ghost falling into trough didn't work but could hear the sound... Entrance to final climb looks great... Yes air shooting is still there... Ghost on lift stuttered the "Why you all still here" 3 times before playing properly... Last room looks like they plastered it with signs and dynamite but nothing else... Water not going on final drop... Mountain looks nice and clean though... Did notice the purchase drinks in rio bravo outfitters... Also sign for village bean... Couple of missed opportunities... Falling rock sign in last climb... Perhaps a collapsing roof like BT had would work here... Warning bear spotted in this area sign after reverse sequence... No bear anywhere... I get it would have been a lot spent on the mechanical but theming could have been a bit more cohesive and issues already present before the refurb are still present... Still a favourite though...

Can confirm the RFID bracelets are unlimited use (just bought one) but this may change in the future according to the store attendant as the area is only new and they are making sure there are no issues with usage...

Not too bad... Good for something a little different (especially since it's now included in the membership)... A lot of fun going to the shows as an Aussie watching them pick on or play up to the tourists... Food is pretty good... Not really something that I would personally go to more than a couple of times if it wasn't for Mr 4yo... Shows haven't changed since they did the tram transfers from MW however many years ago that was now but I guess that is the plus side to your main income and patronage being tourists

Was also a little confused about the Blaze Comics arrow sign pointing to a hole that has been knocked in the wall as well, but guess that could be indicating around the corner and the hole "just happened" to be there... Either way, we were already planning on heading down next Sunday before the opening announcement was made so shall be good to see it all in person!!!

Also have to remember with Ol Faithful that wind direction and strength can have a big affect on how wet people get going past it... Sometimes the whole amount ends up in / over the boat, other times it misses completely, sometimes it hits the boat going through the ghost town area...

Well with The Ultimate being 7:24 approx ride time, 2.3 km length, top speed 80kph, but only going 18kph average... Steel Dragon being being 4:00 approx ride time, 2.5 km length, top speed 153kph... Both at their longest width from point to point are between 700 and 750 metres... Longest width that is being cleared at MW is approx 300 metres... Either this thing is really going to wind on itself and have a low average speed (Road Runner is max 46kph so think less than half that speed), or I would say that 8 minute ride time either includes a lot of waiting time to unload or is totally incorrect...

Funnily enough I had to do my annual Privacy and Confidentiality training this morning at work given we have access to so much personal information... One section says something like... Would we have been able to access this information of our own either within the public domain or through freely given information from the person... Is it something that would compromise that persons safety or well being or give cause for any type of discrimination if it were released... If something is clearly visible by the public in a public area, and cannot be regarded as personal or sensitive information then I don't see why it cannot be revealed... If it was something said by two employees in a general area which was able to be heard by a passer by and again cannot be regarded as personal or sensitive information... If you pay to go on a tour which is open to members of the public and information is revealed on the tour and they simply say don't tell anyone... Anyone from the public can go on the tour so can find out that information so i don't see why it cannot be revealed... If they really didn't want people to know what statues were going up in Villains area they should have taken greater care as the area is obviously very visible to members of the public... Same with the Mack boxes... In saying all the above, I would rather find out the information on the tour as part of the tour... But as also stated earlier, there have been a fair few people to do the tour now so I'm sure word would be getting around of some of the things mentioned... Even not in these forums...

Sick of this quote box crap... Any way to remove it? I wouldn't be too worried about the splash zone... Sitting face to face with someone during the ride, kicking them in the shins may not be the worst thing you could do...
