Adventure World New Coaster - Abyss
Reanimated35 replied to colliric_855's topic in Theme Park Discussion
And if they were to keep doing that and have a season of bad weather? Would you then be on here complaining because they closed the park even more because they can't afford to keep it open? -
They already have something for those that don't want FN. White Christmas. I guess this could be a generic non-religious non scary event though. I think for it to really work though the park should be open longer.

But would the tower? I mean with the rails on the tower, are the cars pretty stock standard as far as attachments go or would a standing/ff car require a different track?

^ I'm with you one this one. Whilst it's great and I'm happy they're trying something new, unlike Fright Night this doesn't make me sit up and go "omg I must buy a ticket to this". Sure it will probably be great for some people and they'll have it again in following years though.

I want to know OP how you went from a ride being built at an American SeaWorld park to that being a new ride for DW or MW. Or did you happen to stumble across the old plans for the drop tower at MW?

Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster fire and lighting effects
Reanimated35 replied to Spotty's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Spotty how would they go about doing a full track walk on scooby? Assuming you mean they walk ever inch of the track, how do they get by for the sections that don't have a catwalk? -

You have to run really fast to get to the top of the superman top hat. -
Did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s minders take Dreamworld for a ride? http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/celebrity-life/did-brad-pitt-and-angelina-jolies-minders-take-dreamworld-for-a-ride/story-fn907478-1226927560359

Ah, didn't realise the park was seasonal (I don't do water parks so I hadn't really been following) Probably with them closing and locking the gate.

Thanks to rac2073 in the other thread for the pic. Could member who is going to WnWS soon please get a photo of what the theming/ground is like currently under the slides? Judging by this pic, it's horribly plain.

PR. Whilst they're not responsible and by parking there, the public acknowledge it (assume there's a sign or something somewhere), it's still going to be better PR for them if they have someone do some laps around the carpark. It may only take a few weeks then the people doing it will probably move on to dreamworld or a shopping centre carpark.

What? You posted something how you saw it, I posted something how I remember it. Take it as you will. Not everything is always an attack against you. There you go. Those old enough to know might make the connection, for the younger generation or those who haven't done research into it, they look just like a jail cell.

1. STARFLYER 2. GERSTLAUER SKY ROLLER 3. GERSTLAUER SKY FLY 4. MACK TWIST 'N' SPLASH 5-7 5. HUSS TOPPLE TOWER 1 - This would be my preferred option. It can entertain the whole family whilst not being another spin-n-spew. 2 - The vomit. Oh god the vomit. No thanks. Plus the people who lose their lunch on the ride could rain it down from above. 3 - This could be good. It can cater for most people. 4 - If you only watch between 0:05 and 0:06 it completely changes the "Twist 'n' splash" element to the video. (But also no because how long until DW remove the water on that one?) 5 - Looks like fun, with whatever legal stuff when on overseas, are they even made any more?

~$150 for a rattle gun, bricks probably stolen from local construction sites, the longest part of the process is probably jacking the car up. Until this goes public, who's going to be concerned about a couple of tires being changed in a carpark?

Surely the park will start security patrols now?

They've used explosives to break out of something resembling a jail cell. (Straight steel bars which look like a cell) and the guy is wearing prison clothing. Sure, we can explain the clothing with them having just broken out, but if the gold was stored in a prison cell, there's no need to have blown it open, they could simply reach through the bars and drag it out quietly. IMO if it (the cell) was replaced with a safe it would make more sense.
