I wasn't the one asked to go on stage to get the promo shot - that was the other photog who was there. I swear that pic they took was posted but I can't seem to find it now. I got a bunch of other shots which I haven't posted yet but I've given them to the park and to Cyrus' reps. Not sure if/where they'll turn up if they do. I think the winter thing is pretty well covered with Christmas, however it would be nice to have something during actual winter when it's cooler and less likely to rain. In saying that, the DC stuff might fill the gap, but that's not due til around FN anyway. That's weird - it even shows up in your quote.

Exactly, most of my shots of Carnivale are just taken in the same way as everyone else - line up, get the shot, move on (for roaming entertainers). For the stage shows, they're either from the distance with a zoom lens, off to the side while the majority of people crowd to the front of the stage, or in the case of the Cyrus performance, I had special permission to be where I was and even then I was still trying to stay low and keep out of the way.

OMFG don't get me started. I'm waiting to hear back 100% confirmation he wasn't allowed to do what he was doing, but there was this professional photog at Carnivale (NOT the guy above) the last couple of weekends who always seemed to push his way to the front of the crowd and never made any sort of effort to get out of peoples way and not block their view.

Sorry @Theme Park Girl I meant that because there isn't any holidays I wasn't sure what they could do. It would be nice to see something around August but I didn't even think of the weather.

What could you even put in? There isn't really any other holiday that works, so that's out. Of course they could just put a random theme in, but what's there that could work?

Yep, tonight, 21st, then no night events until October. Can't wait for the UTT again, and another excuse for a few thousand photos

I've watched the video almost frame by frame and it appears as though the 'disc' did in fact let go of the trolley. That's how it looks to me anyway. It did also look like the 'disc' may have warped a little as it fell but I can't tell if that's just due to camera angles.

It is a knock-off - the Zamperla ones sit lower and have a slightly different restraint handle.

Aren't the restraints the same ones Shockwave uses? Sounds like a wheel dropped off, or the bottom of the 'car' gave way and tipped.

I'm not really seeing how this will work, but seeing how well these other project of his have gone, I completely believe if anyone can pull this off, it's LVH

Rwc, Andrew, @AlexB...... On topic, even though sharknado was a pretty terrible movie, it falls into the it's so bad it's funny category. I think this would be great as a temporary attraction on the blue lagoon site.

Maybe it's best if they just level all the parks for safety. You can just imagine you're having fun. This is just as bad as the woman who sued MW for making her kid excited and not stopping him from running on concrete.

1 - it's not about trying to be an "armchair moderator" it's simply asking for someone to type like everyone else. You know, conform to the rest of us sheep. 2- Maxin, I even tried reverse image searching the person from the clip, couldn't find her. Tried looking for credits in the show, there wasn't any. Tried checking LVH website - under construction and the other one (older one) has no info on Sharknado. Tried social media for LVH, SuddenImpact and Shark Tank, couldn't get any results. She does look somewhat familiar though, but she's quite possibly just "generic model #525". 3- djrappa - you don't seem to like me, from what I remember you've complained about stuff I've said before. Why don't you like me? 4- MW execs have also recently caught up with LVH. Make of that what you will.
