i gotta admite the claw is awsome and it does get stressed out during it's daily run.I have herd this big "bang" and i even wanted to know what it is.The vibrations are only due to powering up and down at the arm "flexes".When i went wipout was down and i was angry but you would see the amount of work being done.All seats where removed and motors where being inspected i think the old girl is showing her age.

guys as much as we would all like things to change at lps i wouldent hold ur breath.Working there much hasent changed in the past year apart from the introduction of the turnstilles.I mean i honestly cant see a new ride or even a change of rides for around 5 years,thats if the place survives

Guys i have to agree wonderland is over it aint comming back.its just like a family car please dont tell me that we all cry over them,but at least we have memories and a alrite amusment park to still go to (Luna Park where i work).I hate to say this as much as i liked the place it is gone FOR EVER.

hey guys i work at luna and i reckon u should give kevin a break,he is a cool guy loves his rides ect,in fact he is just like alot of you,He loves rides and riding them,so i dont see any harm that he is doing.

this is a question,is know it sounds stupid but what rides have been badly damaged or even struck by lighting during wonderlands operation.

Yeah Ranger is a cool ride,when you send them straight over they got no idea what hite them,although it does depend on the load,but yeah it is a kool ride to operate,Although you have to remember that you are controlling it.

well i work there and the noise is no better than the ferries that go past or even the traffic on the harbour bridge,building wallas around these rides would make it very ugly in my eye's,that my two cents worth.

i do agree for the long term it will help the park although it will be taking a little of the "fun" away.The only drama about the whole thing is the "UFO" i cant see it getting put into another part of the park and if it did the park would be closed for a while to that they could relocate it possibly trokia might get the boot.

i work in the area all you guys are so intreged about rides i mean it is a tough call i have no idea what they could do to the park but at the moment it seems that the generall public are happy with the rides so we will just have to wait and see.

It does need a new platform the one its not now aint very good give it a new coat of paint and make it look bloddy awsome i reckon,lets get HUSS out here lol.they really should i reckon

Here here i do amdite that.There could be so much potential for that ride,lights signs ect.But for some reason they just wanna leave it alone and i dont know why.I tell people "welcome to the breakdance" cause that is what its called.At night it could be 10 times better than it is now at night but hey i dont know they might but for some reason i dout it.in your eyes HUSS how could they make it alot better i am just curious.

I honestly can say that i dont think any of the rides at LPS will have major changes this year.Maybe next year some of them could get themed and even re-painted it would make for a better atmosphere.I just want to see some new rides come into the park and actually be there full time.There was alot of talk about the Dominator but that aint happening and i dont blame them.Our poor old ranger tho,she is starting to show her age and it wont be long before it has to have a major overhaul.

GOBOI those pics are great.Thanks for posting them,It would be great if the ufo looked like that and had a better backdrop.It's interesting for me to look at the park version of the spider and see a big difference.Do they both performce the same.

Huss is that the brakdance that luna park does have,i am sure of it cause not much has changed apart form colour,floor,the angle of the floor,but they had a oparators box :-(,where is our,apparently they are on the way,dont know when tho

When you stand on the platform you dont see much (this is a normal person).To use we see the arm and the motor.All this sits as you said in a pit untile the ride is luifted up into the air.It has not been bolted down and i dont know why apart from maybe it does weight enough that it wont move to much.Of cause it will move but maybe within safety limitations.Personally it is the best presented ride in the park.Most people dont even see the arm or the motor as a fact untile she is air born

i know it once moved,but it is a park model,it is not a road going model anymore.I have been told years ago it was modified.I mean u guys dont even work there and if you cant take the word of some one that does then i dont know

well i admit it would be nice buy the ranger's weight is over 90 ton of steel,the roof on coney island couldent take it,it would have to be all cemented up and it would look rather stupid if you asked me.the ranger on top of coney island,i think some ppl have to much "free" time on there hands and not enough sensible time

yes the ufo cam from expo but it is the only park model ride we do have,trust me i would know cause i work the blody thing most of the time,and most of our rides are from expo anyway including some of your kids rides.

Yeah we have a new sim,its older than the other one but the Hydrulics are 10 times better and this time it does bash you around a fair bit.As for the ranger there is no way it could be moves,the arm it self has a total weight or sum 60 ton so as for it going onto any roof you could forget it,i belive it could be better going over the water kinda put it where the kids ride's are but actually so it would seem like its going into the harbour.and as for some one saying sell the ranger and u.f.o the ranger was going to go possibly but that has been scratched i dont know why and the u.f.o is a park model.So i think that could be harder to get ride of and the park would be shut down so it could get taken away,not a good idea,thats why its been on that roof since 1993

well guys it looks like you all might be wrong with your idea's,the mega drop might go next to the tumble bug,we have had a ride up there before,all we need to do is oder the crain,i know it sounds weird but it could happen,for the hard rock i'd say where the "new" simulator is right now.The sim can be moved very easy

Hey gang just thouh i might let you know that luna park is looking and getting some "extra" rides in for the school holidays.The Dominator is a draw card but now get ready 40 Meter drop could be comming The claw(dont know its other name) Ice skating ring in the big top There is meant to be one more ride but i dont know what.The Dominator will be back possibly with the train,And some other kid's rides.Hope this info is alright but just remember non of this is confirmed as yet.The park is still in negotiation with the owners of these rides that they would like Cheers. :cool:

well guys i work st luna pak syd and i havent herd of any new rides apart from the rumours of demon,Bountys revenge,and even thos cars i fogot what they are called but if i know if any thing i will tell ya ps this is also my first post
