  1. Damn, I forgot about Pacific Fair, that place is insane.
  2. I think even the Casinos themselves have it in their own interest to not be associated with the negative imagery. They draw people in by advertising themselves as a nice place to go.
  3. That could be the 'World's best' selling point. World's best Mack Coaster footings.
  4. Sounds right @YLFATEEKS. Is this evidence that it's likely not a hyper like the one in China? The footings on that look like this.
  5. Surely it has only been information to do with surprises on the tour that they're asking not to share. No way would they expect a bunch of people who are likely enthusiasts to hold back some exciting information about upcoming attractions. I really don't think it's a big deal.
  6. I think they're putting this coaster in a really good position out the front of the park and I hope it quickly becomes an icon as much as Superman Escape has. I think going for a launched coaster would look strange in the GP's eyes. It'll seem like Superman 2.0 rather than its own ride. Safe to say I'd be hyped for a hyper, but personally I couldn't care less as long as it's kick ass.
  7. I am loving this new alpha. The buildings and blueprints system is great, the water looks fantastic, and the new coasters are awesome. The coaster editor isn't as perfect as I'd hoped for, but I do love the banking offset feature that lets you bank to the heartline. With a lot of fiddling for hours you can make a really nice coaster, just wish it was that bit easier to tinker with any of the track vertices like in nolimits rather than just the large pieces you've placed. The path system has always been horrendous. I'm getting worried that it'll still be like it is on release. The cities skylines road system does not translate well to theme park pathways. We should really just have a system that allows guests to walk anywhere but they are cordoned off by scenery items. (So if you place a fence they won't walk through) just like in a real park. perhaps there could be a way to stop them from walking into certain sections of the park too. Anyway, I think it's getting a bit too late for any dramatic changes to happen to the path system. I fear that we'll be stuck with it on release.
  8. It looked like it said retard on the dumpster. nevermind
  9. I'm not doubting that this is standard almost everywhere, but why? It really makes no sense to me. If they are nice, non-ripped jeans and a standard T-shirt, I really don't understand why you'd be put off as an employer, especially if they were a good candidate through what they said and through their qualifications.
  10. It's not that amazing. It shows just how good of a ride it is for the park. If I had to make the decision between DW and MW I'd choose MW every time just so I can ride Superman again.
  11. There should only be one cycle; extreme mode. Surely running different cycles at different times of the day to cater for the few people who don't want to ride extreme would just exclude the majority from being able to ride what they want, whenever they want. 90% of people who willingly strap themselves into a ride that looks like Doomsday want to do multiple full loops. (citation needed) Perhaps on a quiet day, if the staff are feeling nice they can run it in a less intense cycle for individual cases. but whenever there's a queue it'd just be a waste of capacity to cater to people who don't want to go upside down. The fear of going upside down is really irrational anyway, I can't remember anyone out of the multitudes of people who told me they didn't want to go upside down while waiting in line for Corkscrew (R.I.P.) or Arkham ever saying they're still scared of inversions after riding. Drops and heights I can understand, but speed and inversions? It's all in your head.
  12. My sister's dog's previous owner's ex boyfriend used to be the Dippin' Dots guy, and he said that his old mate who still has contacts told him that it would be sure to deliver deliciousness all around Australia, one Delectable Dot™ at a time.
  13. Climbing AA must have been an incredible experience. That view of Superman is a really nice one indeed, and one that most people haven't seen, I'll see if I can have a look over my shoulder next time I ride.
  14. Always been a bit skeptical of painted backgrounds like that, but I have to admit that I needed to look twice at this one to make sure that the backing city wasn't real.
  15. Yeah I find that strange that they're doing another large tornado finale, would prefer a bowl for sure.
  16. I was exaggerating a bit, but I don't understand the hundreds of people collecting in a park in the middle of the night just to catch pokemon. Granted pokemon players loitering in the park provide a better atmosphere than groups of drunk teenagers loitering. Mobile games have just always been a thing that I do when I don't have anything else to do, like when I'm on a train or waiting in line. I find the hype really strange, but perhaps I'm just old fashioned and becoming a grumpy old man too early.
  17. The headset is being implemented by the park, and they'll do the required checks to ensure that it isn't going to come off, they can't just trust that any random guest's glasses are going to be as safe as the headset that is designed purely for use on the ride.
  18. It's a disease. Pokemon Go? This needs to Pokemon Stop!
  19. I believe so - http://www.samsung.com/au/support/skp/faq/1105649
