  1. Themeing and atmoshpere. In my opinion, if you want off the ride before its over, its a bad ride. I you want to ride it over and over again and never get bored, its a classic
  2. Well, youve got to give dreamworld credit where credit is due. They sucedded perfectly at turning Gold Rush Country into a ghost town. Well done Dreamworld!
  3. the scaffolding for the jump looks really ugly and out of place in front of the origional themeing. It looks like something from a halloween special, not a permanent regular show
  4. So what exactly are they going to do to the wipeout?
  5. They closed The Vortex too. Vortex, Thunderbolt, Chairlift and blue lagoon ore the only rides i never got to experience
  6. Thunder River looks really good in that picture that sounds all right
  7. who knows, maybe theyre revamping the entire ocean parade section since they seem to be refurbishing The Wipeout. But wasnt this ride opened in 2000. Is it really at its point of age to be removed?
  8. I saw a link to an old video of Wild West Falls back in 2003 that was on the old rollercoaster.com.au site, but couldnt accees it. Is there a way it could be uploaded on this site. Im curious to see what the theming was like before the fire, and what the final room before the drop looked like. http://www.roller-coaster.com.au/videos.php?vid=13 apparently it says im not allowed, Im not complaining if that's how it is
  9. Was that for the close fire encounter at the end or the fireballs coming out of the volcano, or both
  10. Unlike most rides in Australia that ive been on heaps of times. Ive only been on Bermuda Triangle once, in September 2007. I was terrified to go on the ride as a kid since i had had a fear of rides when i was very young. But my fear completley vanished when i was 9 and I went on when i was 10. Awesome ride, but i didnt find it to be overly that scary. I think i remember the fire at the top but I dont remember that much. The ride was in pretty good condition, but that was the only time i was on it. Was the ride in good condition in 2007 and was it scarier and more violent in the 90s when it first opened?
  11. Yeah, there are countless water rides in the US that will get you wet. But even thought the US is hot, Australia constanly has a hot climate all year round and needs to have better rides that should saturate you completley instead of give you wet patches and sprays
  12. You mean Grizzly River Run. I got wet on that but got DRENCHED by standing in the splash zone!
  13. I remember back in 2006 when i was 9 riding RHLR at dreamworld and getting soaked on it. And getting slightly wet on rides like Wild West Falls and Bermuda Triangle. But since then. I dont get as wet as i used to on log rides for some reason as i used to. What are some of the best water rides youve been on where you you get drenched most? First in australia alone and then in the world (if youve been overseas)
  14. I think i'm seeing a rollercoaster revolution that we've been all waiting for just beginning to start, I'm just hoping that we will start to see rides that Rival the US.
  15. Can i also ask something. Did dreamworld use elevators in the queue for Tower of Terror in the past. When did they stop using them. I might sound random, but i always used to see them with queue bars going towards them. I first rode TOT in 2006.
  16. I think that a possible cause that EMMR is still closed is because asbestos is in the material of the structure of the mountain. Im not completley sure. But i saw this website where a park employee told this person that that was the case Have a read http://www.aussieontheroad.com/a-day-at-dreamworld/ Tell me what you think
