  1. SO they took a few months to pick a name. They had 91 names on the list. The sign makers were gonna call it (insert logo here) because they couldn't pick the right name. Goliath is the name of this big ride and the ride looks very visually impressive. and another teaser video https://www.facebook.com/AdventureWorldOfficialPage/videos/10155506834729564/
  2. For your information someone jumped the gun. They have posted part of the timeline including the name. The name is Goliath.
  3. So will this policy be Australia wide or just Queensland?
  4. Here are a few screenshots from the video which answer some questions about the skull. Looks very intresting breaking news a new tree was planted.
  5. So we knew everything about Kraken before the revel but with MI-3 they have kept the theme and name a secret with no clues until the revel.
  6. I don't think any ride operator or theme park company will want to yearly strip the rides paint. Unless it was a strip of the paint every couple of years.
  7. And A Giga and Strata coaster appear. Oh wait why there at it make a B&M, Intamin, Hyper, Moniral, RMC hybrid, fountain, dive, standup, walk through attraction built but Disney and referbished by Mack. (I think I covered everything) oh wait I am just using my imagination. (Cause it's dreamworld)
  8. It's like how they have Storm Coaster, Green Lantern Coaster, Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster, Road runner coaster. Point is Village love putting coaster in the rides names. Now we have DC Rivals Hypercoaster.
  9. Have a look around the helix area and the NIL. I would say there will be a lot of near misses there.
  10. Oh I get you now. I think we should see it on the top of the tower as this skull seems to be part of the logo. IE Abyss's Garidans and Kraken's tentacles.
  11. @ABYSS what skull? Do you mean the large skull they have had for years? That hasn't moved.
  12. To me the spikes and stuff look sort of like a Viking theme. FYI @ABYSS the song is wrapped up to his the name. So it might not be a sail.
  13. Remover it will always be slow at first as they use certain wheels to make the ride run slower and thy will slowly change the wheel types to make the ride run faster. So some Mack officials have apparently been seen riding DC Rivals. Which is very quick. I thought they did like 2000 cycles before humans were aloud on.
  14. 150 foot infinity coaster would be massive for a vertical lift and beyond vertical drop.
  15. We still have KBF that will make an announcement soon. Definatly a big day. Also Steel Vengence will be the worlds first hybrid Hyper.
  16. I have never been on the Beast but the Freak oht with its lap bars is a great ride. But it doesn't surprise me that everyone flocks the the Beast due to its a bigger and more intimidating version.
  17. @Cactus_Matt must parks around the world work on a 5-10 war plan. AW has a 7 year plan and as we have seen this Hyper coaster has been in planning for a few years. So I would hope DW has at least a 5 year plan to know what direction they want to head.
  18. @Aw hype it's been like that since they announced Abyss. I think it's more what Gerslaur calls their Euro fighter elements as it's the same element list for Saw and for the general Eurofighter description.
  19. Isn't TOT II classed as a Giga Coaster? (over 300 Feet?)
  20. A few kids rides have. The Beast was 3 million I believe.
  21. Also take a look at why Perth Royal show is going down hill and we have lost a lot of rides in the last 2 years. Extremely high rent prices and bad weather resulted in ride owners not wanting to take a ride across the country and gamble with breaking even. I have worked at the PRS and one of the ride operators told me for a bumper car ride they needed 40,000 riders to break even.
  22. The Ekka does not own the rides. People pay a lot of money to have their rides there. Also I believe this will be the first time the Beast has come to EKKA.
  23. I believe that is the star of the shows website. But they are owned by joylands better amusements.
