    Maybe it's actually meant to be a red Flash-themed track but they painted it slightly pink so it's not as noticeable when it starts fading

    @Inverted did you take the photos yourself? I'm just wondering if the track is as pink as it looks, or if it's more of a purple-y colour and the light makes it look more pink - that way it could always be a batgirl/huntress themed ride?

    Looks like the troll was onto something with the pink track haha! I have no clue what the theme would be now - unless we're getting a pink batman: Perhaps the pink colour is only part of the track?

    If any of our parks are looking for a good family coaster, they should definitely give GCI a call because this looks like a fantastic family ride. As a thrill ride, it's obviously not going to amaze anyone, but I don't know if you can get much better for a family coaster.

    ^Same I remember going on a school trip when I was much younger and had the option to experience it - but since was a lot younger then I preferred to marathon Runaway Reptar and TRRR (I still remember how wet my socks were after that day!)

    What is a "casual enthusiast"? From reading this myself I'm thinking that it's another term for "idiot". I'm just so lost as to how your post makes any form of logical sense. Great photos @Theme Park Girl, not too long until we see some action now I'm sure!

    Well obviously... a ride that's meant to go 100 metres up a 120m tower doesn't go half-way up and then come back down.

    Totally agree - the tentacles actually look amazing, but what is the Supertubes Hydrocoaster doing there?

    I'd take the GD over a few of MW's coasters any day (not Superman of course - but I'd take it over Scooby or GL or possibly Arkham), making the experience even more insane and even more awesome would really excite me.

    I find it sort of ironic that the shelter is going up after the non-stop rain starts... if only they decided to put it up last week, they'd have a nice dry place to do their stuff this week.

    Only linear forces are affected by the way you face, and these forces are quite minimal on ToT because of the long launch tunnel (ie the coaster has room to accelerate more slowly) the actual "big" g forces you feel on ToT is when you go from horizontal to vertical and vice versa, and these aren't affected by the direction the train faces. ToT launches at a rate of ~7 m/s/s (at full speed) which is not that much compared to superman's ~14 m/s/s (please excuse me if my math is wrong)

    I've heard a lot of stories about why ToT doesn't launch at full speed - eg to save power, to make it more appealing to less-adventurous audiences, etc. I've also heard the one about it having too high forces, but I'm nearly certain that's definitely not the reason.
