While the superhero trend is great and all, it would've been so much better to build a new ride than redo a classic. It works and I'm sure it will be great for the park in terms of teen market appeal but it destroys a classic ride. A marvel themed area is a really good idea but did it really have to take over this? I'm assuming the ones in Orlando and Paris are going to stay, thank god we've got several of them around the world.

Yeah well it just gives them a step ahead against magic mountain. It's cheating, but they do it anyway.

I'm short-sighted and I've never tried VR so tell me if I'm wrong, but I thought I heard somewhere that the VR headsets have some focus filter on them so people with long-sightedness can adjust it? -

I mean like from a booth out the front of the ride or something, I'm not sure some people would want to carry a wallet or credit card into the ride and leave it in the boxes, lockers are much more secure. They could always hold onto your credit card if you're paying that way I guess, although cash might be a little harder. You might be right about me overreacting. Hopefully they'll set a good price, I think $5 is fair anything over is pushing it and although under would be great 5 is probably a fair price since they'd want to make a good profit. -

- A bunch of the upcharge attractions (in particular how overpriced they are/were, some were fixed) over the road at DW - Lack of staff around the GC theme parks even during semi-busy times of the year - Running fewer trains than they have again even in pretty busy times, in particular SE - Hyping up every tiny little thing that we get - HWSD2 - The lack of fire effects on Storm Just a bunch of little things. But I guess all the announcements the past few days seemed perfect so something had to be sacrificed, which was obviously VR being free. And I guess since it was free in America we were all expecting it here, really it was something I'd expect DW to do than MW. Also on the lighter that means the capacity won't be ruined as I'd expect you'd have to pick up the VR at another point in the park. Also I doubt it would happen since it would be pretty complicated to do so but it would be cool to incorporate the buttons on the harnesses with the 'game'. -

Seems like a good enough reason... although I wouldn't be surprised if it confuses some of the GP. The large frame also looks like the sign is going to be quite impressive so hopefully they'll put something around the other side too. -

It's kinda weird that the sign is facing the back of the area... perhaps they will be opening up an area behind it to connect to AA? -
Welcome back Push, we've missed you but happy to see you back

Upcharge? Yet another stupid mistake that we should've been expecting. Idea was good, but yet again the execution is going to be poor. That $5 or $10 can go towards saving up for a Star Tour. -

If you think AA is rough, you should go ride one of the older SLCs with the traditional restraints still on it... -

Another great choice for MW. Even if they theme it to the Batjet, which might not suit it 100% theming wise, there's no doubt the loops and twists of AA will work really well with it. I'm mainly worried about it reducing efficiency, but I think since they only have one train they can do the VR distribution/cleaning/whatever during the time that that's cycling. -

That's actually a pretty good way to make money though, I'm sure a lot of poor losers will be sucked in. -

Anyone who wants to do a good deed to the wikipedia page could always add Carnivale to the events at the bottom of the page. -
Yeah but then they leave it sitting there untouched for over 10 years after

I that concrete pump this morning, work is coming along well! Didn't have time to stay and watch though, had to take advantage of ToT's empty queue and get my repeated front-seat rides on it -
Jaguar's are just the standard new Vekoma vest harness right? If HWSW's anything to base it off I feel I'd like Arkham's harnesses better (if it wasn't for the leg-crushing), they're a tiny bit less bulky.

This site is great. You say a SLC is your favourite coaster, and is in your top few coasters, and we see it as something perfectly normal. You say it somewhere else, say TPR, and they think you've gone crazy (possibly from being knocked around too much). They just don't realise that a sucky coaster can make a good coaster if some effort is put into making it (ie comfy trains and good theming).
