  1. Today's update. Entrance rock walls are completed. Bamboo has been added along the back of Pandamonium and bamboo panelling added to some of the concrete walls.
  2. The cost included the removal of Bermuda Trinangle, along with all the theming
  3. Storm Coaster has been the most expensive to date at $20 million
  4. That train was added as part of the refurb
  5. I'm finding it funny how some people think the reused mazes are better than the new mazes. But i suppose with it being a second attempt at the Maze, then they could refine or fix things.
  6. @YLFATEEKS, It probably wasn't plastic, because as you said, metal formwork is the usual option. I didn't get close enough to have a proper look at them. But some did have timber studs around the ones which had concrete poured inside.
  7. From what I could see when I was there, was they aren't concrete footers at the back, and some were stacked on top of each other, or laying on the ground. They just seemed to be plastic pipe that is being used for the concrete to be poured inside of. Some that were closer to the road had concrete inside them.
  8. There was just a story on 9 news saying that AAs VR took a year to develop and cost a million dollars.
  9. And also, it seems that the whole alley wont be open, meaning from Main Street, but will just be the second half that was used as the AA enterance during SE maintenance. And will also be one of the access points to the mazes And these signs have appeared around the park:

  11. That crane is for the filming of Thor, and is holding a sun screen over the set.
  12. Just visited and the stadium was completely full which was great to see. A few changes can be seen since the last update, including painting of the rock faces, ceiling of the cafe completed, covering over some of the brick walls, and the far side continues progress. One of the keepers said that along with what has been stated for stage 2, a range of cameras throughout the enclosure, including on the top of the climbing post and underwater, will be installed and show footage on the big screen. Patrick is heading over to Cambodia in a few weeks to get some footage for the show and provide conservation.
  13. Filmed the ride today with the spray effect in action: https://youtu.be/vhZYyBe_eqo
  14. I also went today, only for a quick visit. And I haven't seen it this busy in a long time. I don't usual visit during the peak periods, so today was quite a shock. Queues everywhere, people everywhere. The gate for villains area was closed for some reason, meaning you had to enter through the shop or right side. But didn't seem to make an issues. And with half the SDSC inside queue closed off, the queue outside was booming. And I've never seen the WWF overflow queue area be used before, and it was today and was overflowing too.
  15. Noticed this extra detail had been installed on the queue roof:
  16. Yeah there's a MW logo type QR code on the seat in front of you. I saw people in the second row wearing it.
