  1. No parks let you wear them even with a strap on almost every ride.
  2. The last several movies shown have been provided by ‘Simex-Iwerks Entertainment’ and their latest offering is ‘Scoob 4D Experience’ so my guess it’s going to be that.
  3. My guess is that they are purely just behind schedule overall. We saw those photos from inside the station last month and they were no where near done. It now might not be they are waiting on parts but purely just just need to finish the labour and testing the ride
  4. Is it the train they are waiting on? In the Parkz update last year they had photos of the train?
  5. It’s a shame there won’t be rides at the night eats, but I hope they’ll have some street entertainment/singers and maybe even some fireworks I think it’s good they’ve now got an event for every school holidays and providing they mix things up a little at each event or offer something new/different each year then it should have a positive impact on the park for the next few years
  6. Screenshot from mobile website, but I also tried on a computer and no issues for me
  7. It’s a street food festival for the Easter holidays
  8. That’s actually the back of the train with the backwards facing seats. I thought the same at first but had to look again to realise
  9. Delays at SeaWorld’s $50 million theme park upgrade will enter a second year after the park postponed the opening for the third time due to shipping delays. The New Atlantis was set to feature two new attractions, including the Leviathan and the Trident. The new attractions were originally due tolaunch in ‘mid-2021’, however was pushed back due to unavoidable transport problems caused by the pandemic. Village Roadshow Theme Parks communications boss Mitchell Olivey said shipping delays due to Covid-19 was the main factor to why it was pushed back. “Our domestic team and international partners were severely impact by shipping delays that have changed our delivery timeline for the Leviathan and Trident attractions at the New Atlantis precinct at Sea World,” he said. Mr Olivey said the new opening date was September 3 for both of the attractions. “This new timeline will also allow our team to add additional improved thematic elements to the precinct which will be a truly world-class experience for guests at Sea World.” Fans hearing about the delay have expressed their disappointment online. “I got passes last year so the kids could go in this Xmas. Some delay is OK till Easter but passes will have expired by then,” Sean Delaney wrote. This image was also included in the article:
  10. Rivals and Doomaday closed along with SE, Batwing and WWF that was closed for maintenance. So only GL, JL, Scooby and kids rides. Not worth it. And it surprised me they bothered opening at all and then once open, went yeah nah let’s close at 12. I went to Carnivale last night and while they tried there best, I’m surprised it went ahead. The carpark was less than half full, Storm (Coaster) and some kids rides were the only thing consistently operating. All the food trucks were closed, so only a couple of the day food offerings were available. The light show thankfully went ahead and was pretty good, but no performers (They ahead in front of the entry) after the show ended.
  11. Based off the state of the park last night, I wouldn’t expect SW to open either
  12. And it appears no one has gone to Carnivale tonight either
  13. I don’t think the parks have closed because the weather hasn’t actually been to bad on the GC compared to Brisbane/Sunny Coast. I’ve been in and around Southport today and there’s been hardly any rain. And looking through social media at people who are at the parks, they don’t appear to have been impacted that much
  14. I’m not surprised at all by this delay, once again. The fact they were still building the station this month meant they were no where near ready for testing (which takes months). And despite the construction of trident going to be a fairly quick process, with the current weather situation it was always going to be a struggle to get it up in time. But if this delay means they end up with a good product that they could spend the time on getting right, then it’s a much better outcome.
  15. I don’t think cute is the right word, maybe terrifying?
  16. In regards to AA, it doesn’t help they haven’t removed all the signage either. There is still the sign on the wall next to Scooby to say access to the ride is left (despite the gate being closed)
  17. There hasn’t been any work on the other two stations yet. I wonder if they will reopen the wildlife store because that was how you used to exit the station, through the store.
  18. I noticed pieces of ribbon on certain areas of track/columns for MDMC, anyone know what that could be for?
  19. Station repaint is coming along nicely and I’ve loving the new colour scheme so far, much more traditional
  20. Yeahhhhh that’s not looking anywhere near done. Looks like the Easter date ain’t happening. I was looking at this photo in particular again and while it isn’t entirely clear, it does appear that the track does go into what we thought was the maintenance building and it kind of looks like it does in that Insta story. Am I overthinking this? Is it a seperate unload station for the train? Is this a shown scene at the end of the ride? Or is it just the maintenance shed?
