The queue for ST and BS are much further away from each other than you might think. The queue for ST is pretty big too, which some long switchbacks. The queue would need to be at least 3 hours long before it to reach all the way to BS. Anyways, that area is now closed off from the public and the old queue building is bordered up and can’t be accessed

Nope, happens with almost every ride. Soft opening means it could only be open for a couple hours on one day and then be closed for the next couple days. There is no way to predict it, but allows the park to trial their operations and fix any issues before it’s offical opening when it will be operating all day, non stop

LEGO store is getting an external repaint. And the glass doors that were facing the fountain have been removed

Hotdog and Sunkist stands are back. New shade sails in ocean parade and the standing tiger is back

All the rides track and structure is gone, just the station building remains, which seems to be staying for now

Station has a new ceiling

I don’t know anything offical, but because the walls are down I’d say we will see a soft opening in a few days. Today staff were undergoing training and maintenance staff were doing final checks/tests

I do hope so, but the fact that the walls are down and you can walk on it, doesn’t give me high hopes that it will be done before opening. Fingers crossed

Construction fencing is down

I don’t mind if they bring back the 3D map, but they need to invest some serious time into improving it and making it represent what’s actually there, instead of big yellow boxes. But they should also still keep the 2D one because some people prefer that. And while we are being picky with it, The aviary is still open, but isn’t shown And they have removed Billabong and the Wiggles House, but the pathway is roughly drawn too

Couldn’t agree more. They have done a fantastic job, explored new ways of marketing (with the drone footage, etc). Made it exciting and stated the key facts needed to get across. This definitely is a new standard and is what the park needed to do to bring the park back into the positive spotlight. It’s a shame they couldn’t have done this with SkyVoyager, but if the lengthily delays, it would’ve been a hard one. In comparison to other marketing parks have done, I always loved the Rivals announcement video and the commercial, but other than that, there wasn’t much else. Everywhere I go, I am seeing some form of marketing around the GC and they are smashing it online too.

I’m glad to see the ‘worlds’ return. I remember from last year the Africa area felt a bit forgotten by guests because it’s so far back in the park and there isn’t much else happening back there. Great to see they seem to be continuously improving on the Aqualight show. Even though they won’t be open for this event, I can’t wait for the new Atlantis to be complete and to ride them all at night. It’s going to add another element of energy to the park with the trident spinning and leviathan roaring

MW did great with Rivals, Superman, Scooby and Wild West Falls (I love the classic WWF ad)

I do hope it is true because it will be great for that park. But it isn’t offical until Gumbuya announces a new ride is coming
