  1. That would be an awesome idea. Shame AA still isn’t themed to Lethal Weapon because that alleyway used to be themed to Chinatown, so it would’ve worked perfectly. Even still, they could easily set up stalls and use that space for an event like this
  2. Either we will be waiting a while for the work to be done, or they haven’t figured out when they are going to do it and this is just the usual scheduled maintenance
  3. The idea would be awesome at night, but even if they didn’t want to do it for whatever reason. Even just stuff like that during the day. Turn the Ricks courtyard, of one of the grassed areas on Main Street, into a Chinese market, full of food stalls, and have entertainment up and down the street throughout the day. Just to mix things up a little. Clark said they always want to have something going on at MW, and yes a few decorations is something, but it could be so much more
  4. Agreed. I wish they would do evening celebrations (another nighttime event). Take the concept of Carnivale, but Chinese twist. Food stalls, street dancers, etc. Would be an awesome atmosphere, and rather than the fairy lights, just a tonne of the lanterns
  5. The Jet Stunt Extremr show has gone under maintenance until March 31, and on the shows information page it states “Stay tuned for our all new stunt show coming soon like you've never seen it before.”
  6. @wikiverse that would be the easiest option, because I’m surprised their isn’t already an A Frame
  7. @T-bone yeah I did know that, but as a show it was better at rocky hollow. But while it’s unavailable, this spot serves well
  8. But that then would cause limitations if they were to have a FN maze in there, or change it back to a show, etc
  9. It was definitely better when it was on the train at rocky hollow, but still entertaining and brings back memories
  10. Theming elements have started to be added down Main Street
  11. They’ve updated this billboard to include the Rivals Climb
  12. Some photos of the final product of the replaced tree and signage
  13. A lot of work is happening in the courtyard, I do hope they theme it to like how it used to be and don’t just leave it as blank simple walls The back of the entrance sign has been refurbed as well
  14. While I think this showcase is great and really well done, the curtain really makes it seem likes it closed because while I was there hardly anyone was going in
  15. And the water has been turned back on for Killer Croc
  16. I do hope WNW do install a new attraction this year. The Buggy’s was the last attraction, but that didn’t last. So really the last proper attraction the park got was in 2014 and was WNW Junior (and that was more of a refurb with a couple new small slides). So really (again) the last major attraction was in 2012, The Constrictor. For a major water park, 7 years without anything major is a pretty long time. I really hope they bring something all new that hadn’t been seen on the GC before. Like a Gravity wave slide
  17. Some water parks even have 2 rivers (one fast one slow/relaxing) and a wave pool
  18. Did some research and it provided to be very hard to find. The slides were from a defunct water park, which closed in Brazil in around 2006. Couldn’t find when the slides originally opened, but I’d guess they would be up to 20 years old. I’m sure someone on these forums will have a greater knowledge about this
  19. I would definitely say that person is sat down, and if they aren’t, the log would have stopped as it was about to arrive at the unload station
  20. The steel frame for the waterfall is still in place, so hopefully it’s replaced in this years off period. And Mach 5 may have looked fine, but it could’ve had piping issues, rust or the slide pieces had an issue of their own
  21. @Theme Park Enthusiast that isn’t for aircon, that’s a vacuum pipe
  22. VR and WB are not the same company, if that’s what you are suggesting
