  1. He also posted this photo. Good to see the facades are getting an upgrade to.
  2. People even commented questioning his post about it being a fountain.
  3. I don't think it was exactly said that it was, but I'd imagine it would be.
  4. It seems a little early to start filming ads for FN, but I suppose depends on how big of production it is.
  5. No Last year it was about the end of August, with filming for commercials done in mid August.
  6. I messaged them asking about the paper pass, and they said that they were having issues with their printers and I can get a laminated one at the ticket booths on my next visit.
  7. Depp (photo from MWs FB) And came across this just before:
  8. Went on GL today and ride audio was working. I've been on it a few times in the past when it's working and definitely adds to the ride experience. Also, AA broke down at about 2 and people had to leave the queue, I think it was an issue with the rides harnesses as I heard someone say who'd just been on the ride before it broke that their harness got stuck. Queues were pretty short when I was there, despite the park seeming to be quite busy. And I haven't seen these two for a long time, but Willy Wonka and Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) roaming around the park.
  9. For all we know the ride could get some theming improvements/upgrades like in the queue line, during its longer maintenance period.
  10. I felt like that could be the spot, as people inside the park could get a pass out and go back in, but if it's half and half, you'd probably need your ticket to get back into the park, so people from outside the park can't just walk through.
  11. I'm thinking this could be the location of the LEGO store:
  12. Hi @The Original Belinda Brown Thanks for all this insightful info, and I'm glad we can have an official team member from DW on this site. As Ninja said, would you be able to inform us about where the new LEGO store is going, or an approximate area if you aren't allowed to give full details. Most other questions I had have been answered, but just wondering when TI does reopen, will the Cub Kindy be removed and left as open space, or will something be installed, whether its seating, store, shading, etc.
  13. Just been to MW to check out DD for the first time, and I must say the ride is much bigger than how it looks through photos. The whole area is looking great, and a few new things have been added since previous updates:
  14. Well I got my VIP Pass at SW yesterday and it's now paper.
  15. ^I would have if they were available.
  16. So I got a VIP Pass today, and the quality of the pass is getting cheaper and cheaper. When they first came out it was plastic, then paper laminated, and now it's just a bit of paper. Talk about cost cutting.
  17. Just been to SW, so here's a quick update. Doesn't look like there's a water fountain going in. And footing for the roof are now in place:
  18. ^That idea sounds plausible, and I really think that entering through a building into the space would really add to the experience of it all. With them all being villains, you'd want to keep them in an enclosed area and not have it open where they could escape.
  19. Do people think that the enterance to the area will be from the left (near the SDSC exit is) and the facades will carry all the way around, so once in the area you don't get an hints of the WW area, or they'll leave it open and you enter the area either side of that slab?
  20. I too thought it we going to be for the queue, but now seeing that wider shot, and the theming behind the control room seems like the place for it. I agree @xRazzBerryx, that would be pretty cool.
  21. Here is the ad for the ride when it first opened and it shows the smoke and sparks effect:
  22. Sorry, I was supposed to edit it, because I read through the whole topic, and apparently it was never released why it occurred. That is a good point Alex
  23. And I didn't realise how much the mountain had faded, but here is a comparison between 2004 and 2014:
