  1. Nothing. I don’t think we’ll see it return as an exhibit anymore and it will return to being used for fright nights and maybe a future daily stage show
  2. In case you fall over from shock of how amazing the theming in the tunnel is?
  3. But if they did that they wouldn’t be able to charge guests a ridiculous amount to play carnival games. For now there is also the Batman Legacy exhibit, but apparently that’s closing soon too.
  4. The ad for the churros stand has been removed, but DGY shared this photo And the ad for the PC trams is still up
  5. @Gobbledok that's it running with counterweights. I don't think the ride can operate without them.
  6. I’ve heard that the counterweights were removed before this photo was even taken
  7. There was a lot of ground works to do for this site and that’s usually the part that always takes the longest. Once these slabs are done, it will come together quickly. We’ll soon start to see track install begin, then the indoor building and so on. And the vintage cars is a pretty simple thing to do and most of the theming for the land is being built off site. MW have been working on the Wizard site for over a year and we’ve only just see the track go up in the last month, but they’ve still got a lot to build to make it look like Oz. So in terms of their constructions timelines, I’d say DW is slightly behind on where MWs at, but they’ll be on track to open at the same time. But it will certainly be a race to see who can open it first.
  8. I wouldn’t mind if they showed Wizard of Oz 4D a limited time movie as a celebration of the land opening. Maybe it could be shown during Horray for Hollywood as that now runs during the summer holidays. And a nice tie in as the event is supposed to be all about nostalgia. But otherwise I think the DC Super League Pets or another Looney Tunes movie would be a good fit. The Roadrunner movie they showed has been my favourite one they’ve done since Shrek
  9. It's not, but the difference is DW schedule their maintence so it's spaced out throughout the year so there aren't multiple major rides closed for months at the same time. While currently MW have four major attractions closed (Scooby being one and Doomsday now not having a reopening date). It seems the 1-2 month closures are the normal now (due to the new requirements post the river rapids investigation), but what the parks need to do is manage their timing and try and reduce the mutli-ride downtime as much as possible.
  10. They did, they ripped out all of the equipment inside and installed new stuff. It reopened last weekend and it looks like the menus all the same, but they now offer a QR table service option (like most pubs/taverns have done since COVID). Gotham City Cafe also now offers this.
  11. That’s good they’ve gone to the effort to adding speakers and bringing back music to the area (because it definitely needed it). Maybe im being too harsh, but that feels like such a half assed effort of hanging speakers from a tree. Why not actually mounted them to a wall or somewhere more inconspicuous so you can’t see them. That tree is already cluttered with stuff, it didn’t need more adding to it. The area needed music, but if this is the best they can do, maybe they shouldn’t have bothered. I don’t know! (someone feel free to call me out if that too harsh). It’s just disappointing to see this is how the park is managed now and they seem to respond to feedback in a panic and just see what sticks.
  12. A few weeks ago Movie World shared on their social media a general ‘park update’ (which was released during the time when they were getting a lot of backlash as only a couple rides were open). Something that I haven’t yet seen discussed is the comment they make at the bottom of the post that states “a new dining experience, in park theming enhancements and experiences and so much more” I’m hoping the new dining experience is that of a ‘themed’ sit down dining experience and not just another quick serve outlet. And it’s good to hear they want to add theming enhancements and experiences, but I hope that includes fixing and refurbishing the park as it currently is because as already highlighted, the parks got a lot of issues.
  13. Yes I have and I think it gets lost amongst sumperan. Yes the yellow helps, but that doesn’t make it stand out
  14. I don’t think in any situation, putting the flash (a red coaster) within Superman (a red coaster) was a good idea. Superman towers over Flash making it look so insignificant and not exciting. At WnW it towered over anything that was nearby and it made it look impressive, but at MW it isn’t. And with it tangled within Superman’s track I’d say guests are going to get confused with what coaster is what. It doesn’t matter that Superman is nearly 20 years old and there’s entry signage, people still get confused with this sort of thing. The Flash at MW (in my opinion) was not the right decision, but having it within Superman was a terrible idea.
  15. Despite already closing for maintenance this year and only reopening a few weeks ago, Serpent Slayer has unexpectedly closed and for a few months The ride hasn’t operated the hard style mode for a few weeks now, so this could be in response to resolving that issue
  16. Based off the catalogue of movies avaiable in the link below, I suspect it will DC League of Super Pets https://simex-iwerks.com/shows/see-all-top-4d-experiences/
  17. Movie World have teased on their social media that a new Roxy Theatre show is coming soon.
  18. Doomsday now has no reopening date. Could this finally be the end of the rides life? It wouldn’t surprise me if they wait until after Flash opens before quietly removing the ride from the website entirely
  19. The parks queue wait time site, for at least the first hour of the morning they were down.
  20. My eyes. So no, I don’t have any evidence, but from my experiences when visiting the park at times of the day the animal area can have just as many people if not more as in tiger island. And I’m not saying through shows, but tiger island isn’t a massive area compared to the wildlife area.
  21. It’s SWs turn for ridiculous amount of ride closures. Storm, Jet Rescue, Trident & Vortex all currently closed. This only leaves Leviathan, so hopefully that doesn’t go down as well.
  22. The whole animal area is still just as popular as tiger island (even for the non-international tourists). I think it’s a great way to break up your (full day) visit to the park. It offers something different to the other parks and as the park are pushing more towards being family focused, it’s perfect for that demographic. They’ve got plenty of other land for plenty more rides.
