  1. Thanks @Ogre awesome collection of photos. With the wiring within the statue for trident, hopefully that means it lights up. It’s going to be a real shame if they don’t hide those aircon units for vortex. Even some batten screening will be good enough. To fully enclose it will require a ventilation system, but battens or tall plants will be enough because they look even worse now the whole area is coming together. Loving the overall aesthetic of the area and the detailing we have seen thus far. It is a shame the entry/view to the area from Nickelodeon Land is such a bottle neck and obstructed view. I know they’ll see as the entrance near vortex as the main entry and this is more secondary, but in an ideal world it would’ve been nice
  2. So if we were to only include closed attractions and their location/area replacements: - Thunder River Rapids replaced by Steel Taipan - Dreamworld Cinema replaced by Sky Voyager - Wipeout not replaced - Flowrider not replaced - Buzzsaw not replaced - Tower of Terror not replaced - Log Flume not replaced - Giggle & Hoot Hop Ride location not replaced, but they did add to Play School Wheel - Big Red Car Ride not replaced I didn’t include Mine Ride in this list because it closed many many years ago, it was just SNBO until recently
  3. This IP as a replacement for Dreamworks or ABC would be a great fit, but my hope is it for ABC because that area needs some major love and there’s so much opportunity and potential for this area. And I love the park is pushing Kenny and Belinda as an IP within the park because they’re a key part of the parks identity.
  4. They’ve also refurbished WWF with new boats, RoadRunner with new trains and currently refurbishing JL. So while there aren’t any new rides, they have been investing money into the park.
  5. What’s also great about Scooby is the exit is seperate from the entrance, which I always find is so much better from a story perspective. So I’m interested to see where you exit from on Leviathan and what the ‘story’ of the exit path is and where you end up within the land
  6. Photo from TPSN. Theming for trident is going in and there are plenty of these blue arches seen throughout the area too
  7. TPSN has shared a close up photo of the sign. Love the detail.
  8. What a great attraction sign. 3D signs are just so much better! I think the fact the sign isn’t completely on the green wall is good. And that is definitely all fake planting. I always prefer real planting, but in this instance, for the effect they are going for it works. Hopefully it looks alright up close too. They might have just not done it yet, but i hope they continue the green wall round to hide that white maintenance building more, or maybe paint it so it blends and isn’t just a white box
  9. Fast forward a few months, turns out Marvin the Martian ride is a retheme of Surfrider 👀
  10. Interesting, if true, that Surfrider is moving. Considering in 2020 the ride track was removed, replaced/refurbished and then reinstalled. The zip line structure has been there for 10 years and definitely needs to go, such an eye sore. From the parks perspective, it would be a costly and probably difficult task the remove that cables as they are length of half of the front of the park.
  11. Yeah I do, but if its built from something better than what Scoobys queue was, then I have hope it will last
  12. That was one of my first concerns, but that’s great news, hopefully it lasts for a long time before any noticeable damage appears
  13. My guess is that hole will be for rain water drainage. Otherwise the water would just pour down and go all over the queue
  14. That’ll be the finish product. It is a shame it doesn’t have a themed element at the base. I originally thought we’d see a water fountain at the base and water would poor into that. But based off that video, I don’t think it will subtract from anything.
  15. That internal queue is very exciting and looks great with the flood lights on, so I can’t wait to see it with its lighting and sound effects. The downside is people will break it over time.
  16. They’ve also removed the shade sails, so seems like the definite location for the new attraction
  17. Even Superman Escape at MW has had many rollbacks during its life
  18. They are upgrading it, but it’ll still be the same ride as when it originally opened. Everything will work again, and we could see upgrades to projectors, lighting and audio.
  19. Is there four mazes in the sheds behind WWF this year? Is the path through WWF the only way to access them with AA closed? Where are the precincts and panic rooms located?
  20. We’ve been saying this for the last 3 FNs, I just don’t think it’s going to happen and this is now the standard to expect
