  1. This is a copy of my current set up on the video for ads. I can't demonetize it because of my contract with Fullscreen, but I made sure it's actively running no ads. Also I used to rely on donations because YouTube was my full time career at one point. Thankfully I can now fully support myself and any money I get from YouTube I donate to organisations I trust. See below: Also I'm "schooled" in copyright law as I've constantly been harassed by organisations flagging my previous parody and cover videos. You're very interested in research I see, so you'll see that this is my first video like this and I'm not that experienced with reaching out for permission. They've asked first because they're large corporations with massive teams of people lending a hand with varying levels of experience. I'm one 24 year old dude who has an interest in theme parks and making videos. I don't have a legal team backing me and everything I do is based off my previous experience. 'Tyme Creative' is also a co-operative between myself and a mate to legitimize our creative ventures. It's literally just a business name at this point and has no actual corporate standing. Once again, you're very versed in research but failed to include this? Also thank you for releasing the email I sent to the WonderlandHistory.Net team in confidentiality publicly instead of replying to it. Who is really trying to fix this issue?
  2. Cheers for the response. I'll be sure to take in mind moving forward. As per the flag, I'll be surprised if it stands. I can sense your hostility towards this issue and as a creator I completely respect it, but please don't try to scare me. Copyright Act 1968 s41 & s42 covers fair dealings in relation to videos which are "Reporting the news" on current or historic events, and review and criticism. Also with the video being hosted on a public US platform it also falls under Section 107 of the US Copyright Act which covers news reporting. I'll be happy to re-upload the video with absolutely no mention of yourself or WonderlandHistory.net and using neither of your content if you're so inclined.
  3. I'm happy to follow this up with you personally. Send me a private message. I want to make sure that all creators are properly acknowledged and credited for their works.
  4. Hey mate, just uploaded the video. Feel free to give it a watch:
  5. Cheers for the input, I had no idea that Scooby-Doo was getting a new feature film! Makes more sense now that they'd keep the theme and subject. I wonder if the update will be based around the new movie or whether it will play off of the nostalgia of the old attraction.
  6. At what point do they just say "Stuff it" and throw in the towel on Scooby Doo? Is it really worth spending a fortune on reviving a clearly rundown attraction when they could utilize the space and ride with a new IP... Even though said ride would probably be "DC JUSTICE LEAGUE: WILD MOUSE COASTER". I feel that Scooby is unfortunately at a point of no return .
  7. When I see a light hanging from the roof I don't instinctively stare at the roof. However, I am not a moth.
  8. I was extremely young when I visited Wonderland, so I feel the majority of the video is based around the nostalgia of seeing the park. It's probably not my all time favourite, just thought it was awesome to actually see the park again.
  9. I've never noticed any rumbling. Maybe I just expect it to be a bit rough.
  10. Just a hobby project for YouTube. I'll post it on here once it's done
  11. The description says it's from 1994, which is before the Sunway buy out. If I may ask, when did you work there? It'd be interesting to see if it was the management that changed how the park portrayed itself. I'm making a video on the rise and fall of Wonderland at the moment and it'd be nice to get some first hand input.
  12. Oh wow! That's awesome. You did a great job Roachie!
  13. This Wonderland Orientation video is awesome to watch. It's stupidly 90s, but its great to see some behind the scenes footage of a park that no longer exists and the expectations they had of their staff.
  14. Why have you summoned the Roachie? What have I done wrong!?
  15. White Cyclone at Nagashima caused some poor Japanese kid to projectile vomit all over the exit queue. I've never thrown up in a park, but flying coasters want to make me commit seppuku from how sick they make me. The forces on my big ass belly were not comfortable at all. @MrLukeCarroll 0/10
  16. It helps immerse you into the attraction and is such a simple thing. The new spiel on Arkham is a step in the right direction with the cynical nurse lady. I found myself really enjoying that spiel and it got me really into the attraction.
  17. For the love of all that is holy can they please update the voice over in the queue? It's completely immersion breaking when you're in this dark eerie space, absorbing the atmosphere and then suddenly this abnormally happy Aussie guy jumps on cheerily announcing "Welcome to Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster!" I find myself laughing at it each time the voice over plays because it's so out of place. Can't they have a voice over similar to the tower of terror at Disney? Something ominous that gets you in the mood for the ride.
  18. I wouldn't call myself a "Roller Coaster Enthusiast", probably more so a "Park Enthusiast". I'm up at the Gold Coast for work and said to my boss "I might stop by the parks whilst I'm up there" and I got the same response I get from most people "Really? Those parks are for kids!". I hate that response with a passion. Thankfully my family, friends and partner are all incredibly supportive of my stupidly expensive hobby of travelling the world visiting parks.
  19. This is what they did today. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a logo in front of it.
  20. I'm currently at Movieworld and it looks like some theming is going up!
  21. The Queensland government brought in new strict laws on the amount of endorphins one can have whilst at the Gold Coast Theme parks. This is one of the many countermeasures brought in to make sure people aren't too happy.
