  1. Yeah I thought the dark ride section used "fog" and the wall holes was mist
  2. Is that referring to #1 or #2 in this pic? Or am I missing something else all together?
  3. https://www.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/ still regularly uses the Credits term. Along with people printing A4 signs off to celebrate their 100/200/300 coasters. Wild times over there.
  4. My Son really enjoyed Yogi so based on that I think it was a good change from Lego. Interested to see what comes next and if it ties into a new release or an old favourite.
  5. For those who missed it, said photos are found here. https://www.parkz.com.au/update/2021/10/20/721-Sea_Worlds_dormant_beast_up_close_with_the_Leviathan_wooden_roller_coaster.html
  6. If they had muddy water run-off from the rain/floods then it could have been emptied and re-filled
  7. Korean manufacturers have some of the lowest wait times KIA has also stockpiled chips and actually have cars ready for delivery in AUS. Other 'budget' companies like MG who have less tech and 'features' have shorter time frames also as they use less chips/semiconductors.
  8. Always exceptions to the rule and with the wide variety of manufacturers the timeframes change. Additionally, the cars are assembled in global plants so there is a chance you took over someone's spot as they cancelled or your car had a higher value/returns for the manufacturer. I work in the motor insurance industry and we have close relationships with the major manufacturers in Australia so this info is accurate.
  9. New vehicles are taking over 18 months to ship due to shortages in microprocessors and aluminium and then add shipping delays on top of that. The only thing thats released recently that doesn't appear to have shortages is Samsungs new phone. On the car topic, feeling for anyone who lost their car in the floods. They won't be able to replace it with a new one for a very very long time...
  10. Alloy of Iron and Carbon Python just doesn't have the same ring to it.
  11. GCB probably didn't notice either and just pulled it from their stock collection.
  12. hilariously we made a family decision about a month ago not to renew our passes until at least September
  13. Rivals being rough is a little harsh. Sure, its not silky smooth but its not rough. Mechanically scooby is in a normal scooby state but thematically its a bit crap. Thats all.
  14. Its been so long since the VRTP crew were informed and no action / pubic announcement, could there be changes to the plans?
  15. 1 for scheduled downtime and 1 of unexpected downtime.
  16. I dunno about you but I find walking down back alleys in the GC an attraction in its self.
  17. I saw it 40min after posted and most comments were either complaining about wait times or excited its open
  18. Wasn't Hooray for Hollywood their Birthday celebrations? I can't see that returning for a bit and didn't the Super Villains event originally run in the Winter holidays so it didn't compete with Carnival and to spread the events around the year?
  19. I think it depends what their target audience is for the planned hotel. If the hotel is designed mainly for tourists to visit their parks, then an interconnected system (including shuttle to SW) is required. If its for businesses, conferences and/or tourists for the GC and guests visiting their parks is an added bonus, then I think its not as likely.
  20. Actually the reason we held off this year. I genuinely love Carnival at SW. I find SW to just be very chill and relaxed but this year with COVID + some personal reasons and the lack of changes in the ride lineup, we decided to hold off.
  21. Black Concrete and Black Bricks too. Love that radiating heat. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. If the seating was provided in a more suitable location people wouldn't use it. As kings of the shaded seats, they have done a poor job here.
