  1. I dunno about you but I find walking down back alleys in the GC an attraction in its self.
  2. I saw it 40min after posted and most comments were either complaining about wait times or excited its open
  3. Wasn't Hooray for Hollywood their Birthday celebrations? I can't see that returning for a bit and didn't the Super Villains event originally run in the Winter holidays so it didn't compete with Carnival and to spread the events around the year?
  4. I think it depends what their target audience is for the planned hotel. If the hotel is designed mainly for tourists to visit their parks, then an interconnected system (including shuttle to SW) is required. If its for businesses, conferences and/or tourists for the GC and guests visiting their parks is an added bonus, then I think its not as likely.
  5. Actually the reason we held off this year. I genuinely love Carnival at SW. I find SW to just be very chill and relaxed but this year with COVID + some personal reasons and the lack of changes in the ride lineup, we decided to hold off.
  6. Black Concrete and Black Bricks too. Love that radiating heat. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. If the seating was provided in a more suitable location people wouldn't use it. As kings of the shaded seats, they have done a poor job here.
  7. I was always under clearly the wrong impression that Australian roller coasters required the seatbelt. Is this a QLD requirement only? or is it even a requirement at all?
  8. Thats Age 16+, annoyingly I can't find the full population statistics but I'm assuming its what @Gazza is referring. If anyone can link that would be appreciated.
  9. I found some. Its not in line with @Brad2912 theory though.. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-01-13/queensland-teacher-vaccination-rates-high/100750678
  10. I don't think people are doubting your school, but I also don't think its logical to extrapolate that across the state. My sons school has gained teachers.
  11. FWIW, thats my time also. I haven't been to DW since probably 2012ish and probably won't attend for a while longer.
  12. Land works is also nowhere near as difficult as SW and site access wouldn't be overly hard although I guess there may be restrictions with filming schedules.
  13. How "family' is 'Family' Could it be like Teen Titans theme?
  14. I legitimately saw someone complain that no one wears masks at Wet n Wild and blamed that park on the reason they have COVID.
  15. Are the burgers different / better at PC? I don't know if I'm just more hungry or if they genuinely are better.
  16. Cheers for the clarity. I have no industry friends. You're all my friends. - is that sad?
  17. How big is the chicken? $20-$25 is pretty standard pub pricing outside of a theme park
  18. Am I missing a post on here or has that info not leaked onto Parkz yet?
  19. This one is a lot bigger than just "brought back" Like they had to install a massive new screen, and one that can handle full sun (which it does). I mean yeah advertisement $$ on the screen would help but im sure maintenance of it isn't cheap, especially when a block of pixels dies.
  20. Do we count Supervillains + Spooky Nights too? Honestly their list is surprisingly long, considering COVID + DWs 2016 incident industry fallout.
