  1. Even more off topic, and I know its only minor but I do like the how HWSW goes around the slides. Our parks need more ride interactions. Be it, rollercoasters over paths or with other rollercoasters.
  2. The Coney Drop. Its in the title man.
  3. If it is, my only theory is you are on a ship being knocked around by rough seas / the serpent?
  4. Coaster Bot on Youtube posted his 100 of 2019 survey. DC Rivals got #9. Full results and explanation on how the voting worked here --> https://coasterbot.com/blog/gca2019 Video here -->
  5. A maybe from him literally means maybe. Don't get your hopes up.
  6. Does anyone know what the minimum height limit will roughly be? expecting @HussRainbow87 to have a good idea?
  7. Trash movies can be fun. Also relevance and licence costings im sure played a big role in the lineup.
  8. I thought I read somewhere that energylandia are getting this? or am I wrong?
  9. which happens to also be when Dreamworld is opening their new rollercoaster...
  10. Arkham its self cost 50% more than that, back in 1995. According to the RBA, adjusting with inflation, thats $28million in 2018
  11. George Miller is very vocal about wanting to film 1-3 more Mad Max movies and is rumored to have written them and even as far as story boarded the next one, and Tom Hardys contract is for 3 more movies but there is issues with the studio or something that is holding it up. @Flynn_Smith it was me that said a duelling coaster, but the biggest issue with that is the cost. I'm not one for facts on costs but I assume a duelling coaster would cost around the $40-$50million mark. Benefits are, keep an inverted (if they went that path), 2 coasters for the space of 1 and increased park and ride capacity and a good crowd sponge.
  12. Wasn't it the first with the extended run / helix?
  13. Not to mention, body slides don't have block brakes and you have to wait for everyone to clear before the next person can go. Any higher / longer and slide time stretches out and queue time builds
  14. Is an LED screen out of reach? an LED screen would work well when there is still light around and could even be used during the day for VR ads like Movieworld and sponsorship ads for revenue/offset costs. (During non wave periods)
  15. Pretty easy to prove if its legit too. odd such a claim isn't being backed up.
  16. If we're talking wishlists for replacing Arkham, to fully utilise all the space they could pretty comfortably fit dueling coasters in the area, similar to Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon just hopefully without all the issues and then you also get 2 rides for replacing 1, and an inverted coaster sill. Obviously huge downside is cost...
  17. When I read this story, amazingly no mention of Dreamworld was in it.
  18. Play around in your camera settings if possible. Both my DSLR (Cannon) and my Point and shoot (Sony) have colour customisation options. Don't get me wrong the photos look great.
  19. All the lights on the Roxy have been fixed/replaced also. Assume it was done for the FN Ad but it looks great with them all working again.
  20. Monorails has dropped off a bit, maybe because the GC got trams? Walkthroughs wasn't dragged on too much from memory, compared to other things. Boxing Day ... urgh.
  21. Yes. And I remember that comment. It deserved more likes and push not liking it was kinda given. Just weird it took this long.
  22. I copped 2 fountains on a post thats 10 days old talking about how I would have preferred the Superman queue to interact with the ride instead of standing in a boring shed. No shit its improbable, the rides been standing for almost 15 years. The emote system is really hit or miss but i do love putting the laugh one down on a great joke.
