But your talking about it being inside the spooky castle... which is themed to the 2002 movie. It just wouldn't work.
-
There's almost no chance that's going to happen. The ride is themed to the live movie, released in 2002, so having incredibly old Scooby villains in a ride like this, would just make no sense.

Gold Rush to get aviation theme at Dreamworld?
Flynn_Smith replied to themeparkaddict's topic in Theme Park Discussion
That just wouldn't make sense though. Giant Drop is too far away from the I-Ride to be themed similarly to it. And how do we know they aren't going for a futuristic theme to replace the now demolished Gold Rush area? -
Movieworld Kids Area Expansion?
Flynn_Smith replied to Tin Foil Hat's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Pretty sure the top two are staff use, and the bottom building is the old looney tunes show-stage. I believe it is now used for storage/fright nights mazes. -
Movieworld Kids Area Expansion?
Flynn_Smith replied to Tin Foil Hat's topic in Theme Park Discussion
What purpose would that do, though? Young kids don't like shoot-outs and tumbleweeds. They couldn't do much at all with a theme like that, because it's already been done. -
Free fast track for the whole day is $149 though (last time i checked). That just wouldn't make any sense at all

Sea World Jelly Fish 2017 Attractiion
Flynn_Smith replied to KiwiBirb's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I'm sure hundreds of people are trying to get into the gate as we speak to see the new attraction -
The Wet 'n' Wild website has been updated. A couple of things to note: - The Jet Streams are not listed as an attraction on their website. - The front cover image isn't even from the park 🤦♂️ Looks nice though. https://wetnwild.com.au/

What.. the hell.. did i just watch..?
-
Could this be because that section of track is experiencing a lot of stress from the trains?
-
It's called 'Starnow'
-
Could be, but he said something about 'a whole new experience for the DC Rivals HyperCoaster'
-
Finally have an answer on what the COO of Village Roadshow has been hyping. It seems that there will be a staircase climb to the top of the DC Rivals. This was taken from an audition site which the park regularly goes to, to get actors for their TVC.

I see one thing that is wrong. Should be Big 9 Thrill Rides. They've obviously just copied and pasted it from a previous application.

Movie World November 2017 Improvements
Flynn_Smith replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
plastic cards have been there for months now. I don't have too much of an issue with it, apart from the fact that they look really cheap and tacky. -
The 'Cloor' doesn't need a new gondola as far as i'm aware?! They don't have enough money to simply close for 3-5 months. It's not as simple as you may think it is. They also don't have enough money to repaint the entire HWSW*, while also adding a new 'ride or two'. What is the point of changing the Giant Drop gondolas*?
-
But, the owner of the ride confirmed that it will be at the 'super show'?
-
Looks to be the same company - just different names for each state. One is Melbourne, the other is Brisbane. If you look at the website, they are identical in layout - just different colours.
-
So, you saw them doing the 'wiring and conneceting'?
-
Thank You

I may be getting this totally wrong, but MDMC doesn't use a Hydraulic launch system? It's a tyre launch..

To compare: This is the map from 2017 - there is a bucketload of more space where the new pavilion is. That area alone was filled with the XXL, Cliffhanger, Speed 2, Extreme, Spook, amongst many stalls. Now, we have lost a majority of those rides, and the rest have all been crammed in towards the Animals.

I don't think it is the full lineup. If it is, it would leave far too much space in Sideshow alley, for nothing.
