  1. Actually.. maybe he's got a point. They could be creating this show to co-inside with the coaster. It is perfect timing..
  2. I have some bad news to report Joz... at 5:14pm, the phone died of low battery percentage. The charger did everything it could to save it, but unfortunately it was too late.
  3. Just browsing through Instagram and noticed that GoldCoastParkz are claimjng the ride is themed to the flash.. even though it is bright pink. Also need to charge 😬
  4. I'd say no, it Just by looking at where the track and supports are, it doesn't seem like it will be as big as the flash's, but it will still be a very large loop.
  5. We've always known that, but for people that didn't.. it just emphasises the importance of Ride maintenance and ride safety.
  6. So, now we know when Tower of Terror will be re-opening! I'm glad that its so soon. Although, wipeout's maintenance has been pushed back even further, now going until the 28th of June.
  7. Thanks for the update @themagician! It's great to see that they are refurbishing the main street.
  8. Top Thrill Dragster The Flying Dinosaur El Toro Twisted Colossus Fury 325 Movieworld Hypercoaster Lightning Rod Blue Fire Helix Can't wait to visit Japan next christmas.. will finally get to ride The Flying Dinosaur!
  9. I haven't been to a themepark outside of Australia before, but I we will soon book for a holiday to Dubai for next March. So pumped to try out the Formula Rossa and some of the other rides Ferrari World has to offer. Although, If i could choose of a ride that I haven't been on that looks amazing, I would have to say either El Toro or The Flying Dinosaur. They both just look so amazing, smooth and intense.
  10. @Rollercoaster_Lover congratulations! You've hit 100 downvotes. How do you want to celebrate?
  11. Your very good at this. Yeah, I did make it up. Just on another note, If you look on Dreamworld's website, you will see that The Rip is also closed without a maintenance period scheduled. So i don't think we should be worrying about seeing Tower of Terror going/being closed for too long.
  12. Oh yeah. I didn't actually do that - I found it and thought it was real. Apologies
  13. I was just thinking about this earlier. And I have thought... where is the "dream" part of Dreamworld?
  14. I know you stated "more often than not", although I was just recently at the park last weekend, and the kids area was absolutely packed full. Big Red Car had a full line, and so did Dorothy's Teacups and the little octopus boat ride. I agree, most of the time it is dead now, but i'm sure they will bounce back soon.
  15. I think this could be a perfect oppurtunity to make it a Sinestro coaster. If they put the entrance in between JL and GL, then they could shorten the GL queue so it lines up with the new hypercoasters queue. This would mean they could market it as "pick your side, hero or villain" sort of thing. I think that would be awesome
  16. It has never done that before. Like @Reanimated35 said, it is just video editing so it seams scarier.
  17. Well, that's not the case. Becuase it is not the 29th of May yet, which is when the maintenance is supposed to be. Meaning... it is closed.
  18. WOW! Just visited the RCDB website about 20 minutes ago (internet crashed so took me a while to post this) but apparently this coaster is going to be a fair way over the 200ft mark! Upon having another look - this has since been changed back to the original height. Wonder what that was?
  19. Yeah. They just wouldnt have to take down the entire mountain. Or they could gut it and make a maze/walkthrough area
  20. Also, Tower of Terror now only runs on weekends. I'd say this will only be the case for a short time as it is leading up to its annual maintenance. Although, it has been having ALOT of issues lately, I was just at the park on Monday (might I add, it was the busiest i've seen it in a LONG time... Lines were all 30 - 45 minutes... Giant Drop was the longest and The Claw was the shortest) and from 11:00 until about 3:30 TOT was closed for "testing". Just a very unlikely thought - they could re-open it, but with a completely changed layout, new tracks, new trains and different theming.. they could also market it as a new coaster.
