  1. Isn't it supposed to be atlantean themed? It's looking very generic in that video
  2. I believe they already have that flooring. Maybe it's being painted?
  3. The final maze is confirmed to be IT! How exciting! "Be immersed in 17 of the most iconic and frightening scenes from the IT universe, including the Library Scene, Projector Scene and the Well House". 17 scenes! This must be their large(r) maze this year?
  4. It's all well and good to say that they 'treat guests like family', however, that is usually very far from what you experience at the parks, specifically Movie World. Unless something has recently changed, there isn't anything which makes them stand out and make your trip 'unforgettable'.
  5. Filming was also happening around the entrance - heaps of gear was inside the gift shop, under the stairs. I believe it was actually @Slick doing most of the filming that I saw.
  6. Seems like it might be closed for filming? Not sure
  7. Still closed at the moment. Apparently just a ‘short technical delay’
  8. Personally, I think it's the dumbest coaster render i've ever seen. It looks like something a kid would make in Roller Coaster Tycoon. However, I do believe it's just indicative and won't actually look anything like in the render.
  9. Wouldn't there be a huge weight difference between a train with a spinning car, and one without it? The launch speed would be greatly affected by the difference, no? I also thought it was supposed to mean that 1 car was at the back of each train.
  10. Curious to see as to how much DreamWorld will be charging for this seat, or if they will charge at all.
  11. As said earlier, the colours in the render aren't the final colours for the coaster. DreamWorld said this multiple time in the comments on facebook.
  12. Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere, however the cart and track are certainly not staying the colour in the render.
  13. Both have been announced for over a week now.
  14. It is a clone. Take a look at the renders which the park have released. As @Skeeta said, it's a clone, simply with a triple launch system similar to the likes of Star Trek/Hunger games. They probably meant that it is the same type of launch system featured on rides like SDD.
  15. Possibly referring to the fact that in many rooms the lights were flashing so much that you really couldn't see any of the detail which they put into the maze. Was very hard to see what they had done.
  16. Didn't they have a Zombieland scare zone about 5 or 6 years ago?
  17. Roller doors have been missing from DW for a number of months now. Not sure why though
  18. I think push is referring to the fact that the geysers have been completely empty holes with exposed piping for the last few months, regardless of the fact that the ride has gone in and out of maintenance. Much of the audio is out of time, and many effects in the old town portion of the ride aren't working.
  19. Yep, they're certainly $3 this year.
  20. Wasn't this article posted at the beginning of the year, though? In May, John Osbourne announced that there was indeed two new attractions coming to the park - well after they said nothing was happening.
  21. All taken from the opening scene in Annabelle: Creation.
  22. It certainly does look like Annabelle. If you look closely, you'll see baby dolls in one of the boxes - a prop which was heavily featured in 'Annabelle: Creation'. I believe the old Grandfather Clock is also featured in that same movie.
  23. I'm quite excited for Winterfest (even though i'll be missing out on it entirely). I think it's a definite step in the right direction for Dreamworld, especially if it is successful enough to become an annually event.
