  1. Why? I don't understand why we are complaining about having roving entertainment in our parks.
  2. Did you seriously just ask that question?
  3. And I don't see how anyone could argue they are. Dodgems are supposed to be crashed into each other, these cars are not, but obviously for safety reasons have the necessary bumper/barrier around the cars. Dodgems are promoted by signage and ride attendants as having the aim go smash the other guests, something that is not mentioned or even alluded to in anyway on this ride
  4. Not sure what dodgems you have been on or seen BigKev but they generally involve driving around a small arena, in one direction with no theming with the aim of hitting each other, which could not really be any further disconnected from what Junior Driving School is.
  5. Ahh, you mentioned MW, DW, WnW & WWW. Short of SW that is every park.
  6. So you want a parkz update of every park? How about you just look at the countless uploaded pics from the past couple days that show nearly everything you've asked for, or go down yourself, and then share your photos (which I'm certain won't look like they were taken with a potato...)
  7. Who works fulltime for $30k a year? You'd get more than that in retail for little or no effort and not have to be out in the sun!
  8. I am yet to hear a single negative review from any child that has been on it, nor any parent accompanying said child. You do realise that not every ride is intended for adults? It was not built to be a 'must ride' for adults. There is nothing weak about it, it's a kids ride, and kids love it! What the hell more do you want?? I wouldn't even call it a significant attraction for the whole of MW, just a significant attraction for the kids area, which is as it's been marketed since day one. I haven't seen any advetistments saying 'after you jump off SE, don't miss out on getting your fake licence down at Jnr Driving School! Exactly! And I find that eternally bloody frustrating! Have some perspective for damn sake!
  9. The day you start criticising other peoples posts for quality, is the day you should start thinking before you type
  10. When something is built in the same location as a previous ride, it does not necessarily mean it is the replacement ride. As I have stated previously, for all you know, MW has a great family ride planned in the next year or so that is the true replacement for LTRR. Storm is an Australian first ride, and is quality in theming and ride experience. To call it pathetic shows either terrible judgement or lack of I understanding. LTRR And BT were beyond repair (well financially viable repair), SW desperately needed a coaster knowing SV was on its last legs, MW desperately needed a quality unique kids ride (the one area DW has it all over them). Both rides were astute ideas and well executed. People need to stop finding reasons go complain...
  11. Get off your high horse push button There has not been a single insult made about anyone. Need a tissue? The tour took you into 1 sound stage, not through most of them. The show was dated, and would have needed a complete re-do to bring it up to today's standards in special effects and sound mixing. If you are gonna do a studio tour these days it has to be relevant and executed really well, and the queue/station land was taken over as part of the SE construction. It won't be back.
  12. No drops whatsoever, and a flat ride with odd corners?? I'm assuming you are still in the slide then, given you don't go down...??
  13. I guess there is a Very small amount of leeway for pushback, but personally I don't find it uncomfortable anyway, except for occasionally when it hits the breaks returning to station. Infinitely better than an hour of sore ears
  14. Usually good with these internet/text abbreviations/acronyms, but what are you talking about?
  15. Great idea! Dreamworld should buy the Amazon and build the worlds largest turbine, with a spin and spew in the middle of it that carries 2,000 people per cycle
  16. Well what a weird suggestion/post. Did you not hear that Pirates of the Carribean 5 has almost been greenlit to be filmed there next year? Naa, let's call Disney and tell them 'sorry we don't want your half a billion dollar picture filmed here, we're gonna build a ride instead While we're on the topic of discovering things, I was looking at a Map of South America today, and realised how big the Amazon Rainforest is. I mean, I know it's a rainforest and animals live there and stuff, but it's MASSIVE and too much. I think we could build about 3 million houses there and then everyone in the world would have nice houses. And also, why don't we take some of the water from the ocean and put it in the desert so it isn't so dry anymore.
  17. I don't believe it's over-priced, it's a unique limited experience. Just didn't agree with charging park entry as well considering it was a late afternoon staffing time (ultimate tour)
  18. Same. I know Scooby, GL, Arkham & SE do, or did, have these features
  19. Geez, I reckon they could just let 15 people in. I swear there's an echo in here...
