how absolutely boring... all the kids cant wait to got on a ride themed to the 70s! Its called vintage cars and located at the back of DW (just near where they are re-building Wipeout)
-
Full of auction items!
-
It's at the entrance to the container. Where else would u put it??
-
Was going to point that out but I think he wants to hear it!!??

Also not that hard to use your imagination. Every detail doesn't have to be spelt out. Most people go on rides for thrills or visual theming. You're the first person I've ever heard of that finds audio narratives the best part of an attraction/ride
-
Everyone loves Disneyland, but we're talking about Australia here. Yes there are improvements in theming that can be made here, but realistically LTRR/WWF/Storm is really as good as its gonna get here anytime soon. Expect Disney levels of theming and narrative at Australian parks is just going to lead to let down...
-
Haha it's doing so well in the states they have already begun pre-production on the sequel, again with the majority of Visual Effects to be done in Australia. Cant really see the property being utilised at MW as either ride/attraction though...

I'd argue that it is faster if you dont include the line up to get on it. But i dont think most people go on it for that reason anyway. Most go on it to save them doing the walk, it is scenic (not sure what you want to see up there other than the broadwater and the park itself - which you can see just fine) and its fun for the kids. As for theming for Storm, you're looking a little too much into it. Who cares if you are saving someone or escaping the storm, what does that add to the ride experience? Do you get confused when you go on Superman Escape, where superman is apparently pushing you out of a subway, only to then push you back into the roof of said subway and out the other side?? The theme is the tone for the ride, it doesnt need to be over-analysed and pulled apart.

I've had a 45-60min wait on scooby once, mid school holidays in January a few years back Other than that peak you're looking at 20-30mins, offpeak 10-15

Interesting to see the pieces available and working out what props etc were from which ride/show/exhibit http://movieworld.com.au/~/media/Files/vrtp/movie-world/140321_VRTP-Maintenance-Lot-Sale-v6.ashx

The estimates from the state government that it is needed in 2022 is a joke. Local council are arguing that too. It was needed 2 years ago. Coomera was the largest growth area in Qld for most of the last decade before north lakes went up in Brisbane. I'm not against Westfields funding more or all of it, I'm against more delays on a project already 20 Years in the making, which would bring strong employment and economic benefit to a region that needs it.
-
The current works on the Coomera Exit 54 Overpass are scheduled maintenance work, re-surfacing etc. It is not the work required to ease congestion and expand lanes. The concrete barriers you saw on Foxwell Rd were also not part of the Shopping Centre project, but the new waste waterpipe line that is running through the area. That is now complete and the concrete barriers are now gone. Without a doubt, but they are already charging Westfields an exorbinant development cost per sqm on the actual site. Westfield has offered to partially fund the upgrade, the governments wants it wholly paid for. Considering the thousands of jobs created by the development and then operation, the government should be more willing to compromise. I'm sure they'll bash it out through the courts or tribunals, and evenutally come to some sort of agreement. The fact though is that regardless of if the shopping centre is built, the interchange needs expanding anyway with the population growth in the past 8 years and what is to come. The Town Centre has been in planning for 20 years, and there was initially hope that it may finally get off the ground for a 2018 opening to time with the GC Commonwealth Games, which now looks very unlikely.
-
Won't happen, unfortunately. Not until the government gets serious. They've put a 20,000 sqm limitation on them until the local highway interchange is upgraded, which the government is not willing to fix until 2022 - even though it needs it now. Westfield won't consider building unless the 100,000 sqm as planned can go ahead

You're also never going to see as many roving entertainers on an off peak Thursday as you would on a weekend/holiday period.

People get injured in commercial kitchens all the time, doesn't result in closure. Unless it was massive equipment failure or electrical/gas issues

Like trolley wheels, no air. But hey they could fall off I guess...

Who were the other candidates? -
Doesn't even have those. It's just a staircase on wheels that they push to the door!

Theme Park Food (the good stuff)

Quite liked the double cheese & bacon burgers they had at Gotham -
Well neither batman, superman (DC) or Star Wars (Disney) are Marvel properties You could argue a linkage with Star Wars given Marvel is owned by Disney too, but Spider-Man film rights are actually owned by Sony Pictures

Say what??? That's blasphemous!!
