  1. Hi B&MFan....you missed nothing in not riding Flashback accept perhaps concussion from being thrown from side to side like you do on those wicked corners. With regards to Ghost Rider, I agree w/you, it's one hell of a coaster although the last time I went on it I found it a lot rougher than before, maybe this was a temporary issue that's has been addressed...I sure hope so cuz it was dissapointing for me. There's another great woodie called Roar, it's at Six Flags Marine World In Vellejo ( I think that's how it's spelt) Although no where as big as G/R, this coaster delivers a fantastic ride thats twisted, fast & smooth as can be
  2. Yes...There was rumours of that floating around. There was also some plans for a convention centre of some type too...I'd love to think that W/L has finally gotten the hint & is about to build some fantastic E ticket ride. But...I wouldn't hold my breath
  3. Hey Richard, I agree w/you, the stop & go part of the Bust Beast is just awful, however, considering how much that thing shakes you about I think it's probably wise to have it to stop your neck from snapping on that banked helix at the other end. I still can't believe that someone hasn't been seriously hurt on that thing. When I rode it more than 15 years ago, you didn't stop at the top of the second drop & I might add, it was no where as rough a ride
  4. Hi Flea, I'm glad that you had a good time at WLS & I agree with you, something needs to be done about TBB....It's not fun to have your head shaken violently off your shoulders. They had an identical coaster in Paramounts Great America in California...It was called the Grissly ( after the bear) It was a much smoother ride than TBB & they tore that dow several years ago cuz it was too old....I doubt that WLS will do this, but someone WILL get hurt on that thing & sue the pants off them!
  5. Hi, Well for one thing they could use a few more new ( adult) rides. I know it's a SEA park but honestly, the last ride that went in there was the Bermuda Triangle & that was how many years ago? I've found most of the park wonderful & there are some nice eateries there too...a bit pricey, but we are a captive audience right?
  6. Hi, Scooby Doo IS a great ride & there's no denying that. The theming is great & I loved the " spooky" part of the ride especially. Really thought, after the first drop I found it to be just another wild mouse type ride in the dark. The lasers were cool but I felt it should have been themed ALL the way through the experience. Imagine how much better it would have been if the rest of the ride was through passageways etc & not just as it is. I did feel the last small drop was an especially nice touch & wasn't expected.
  7. I've had my fingers crossed for SO long they nearly turned blue But I'm w/you lets keep on hopi'n huh?
  8. Quote "Obviously the park wouldn't be in the state it is in if it were located in America as it would have a far greater population count to work with. " Yeah thats kinda true but anyway you look at it, they're not focussed on new rides. The lack of competition IS the killer here, Wonderland ( which can be seen from my backyard) is desperately in need of a make over. The parks in Queensland have plenty of competition & only half of our population here in Sydney so the population theory isn't right on the button
  9. I think I can sum it up in two words...NO ROLLERCOASTER. People expect thrills at the these places & this place was very boring & expensive to boot!
  10. Well let's see Six Flaggs Magic Mountain Knotts Berry Farm Disneyland California Adventure ( DCA) Walt Disney World all four parks within ( Florida) Islands Of Adventure ( Florida) Great America ( California) Six Flaggs Marine World ( California) Universal Studio's ( California) Universal Studio's ( Osaka) Coney Island ( New York) Santa Cruz Amusement Pier ( California) Tokyo Disney Land Tokyo Disney Sea's ExpoLand ( Osaka) Lego Land ( California) My Favorites are Island's Of Adventure...awesome Spiderman ride. Disneyland STILL the most magical of them all.
  11. It actually not a bad little park. The Wild Mouse IS fun & there is a cute tobbogan ride & a bunch of standard things too. They are suppose to be building a Runnaway Mine soon....That would be fun. if your in the area, drop in as admission's free & you can just pay for individual rides or get a time limit deal for around $20
  12. I think that Wonderland really sux. I was there when it opened & had annual passes upto 5 years ago when it became glaringly obvious to me that they were taking cheap shots by adding more shows when they should have been adding new rides. If this park was in America it would have gone broke years ago due to this fact alone. I visited it a few weeks back with my niece cuz she wanted to go...what a dissapointment & it re enforced my disgust with the place. The Bush Beast coaster would have to be the roughest coaster I've ever had the displeasure of riding & believe me, I've riden many in my life. I find no fun in being shaken to the point where you think the fillings in your teeth are coming loose & walk off with a massive head ache...This is NOT my idea of a good time. It should be torn down & replaced with a new coaster before someone gets hurt on that thing & sue's the pants off them. Dream World/ Movie World are marvelous & Wonderland should take a good look at what they do & learn from it....It's a Wonder people still go there, that's the only " Wonder" about the place.
