  1. First Park visited overseas for me was Universal Studios/Island of Adventure Orlando in 2009, while in the USA for a Shuttle Launch.
  2. I just made myself sad. Saw the pics above and wondered how the area would look as seen from Sky High Skyway.
  3. This is better themed to a Pirate themed ride. Leviathan to me evokes a Sea Serpent / Kraken type of theme.
  4. Yeah nah. No way would in this day and age would a Theme Park head honcho leak business plans years out. If anything it's a red herring.
  5. After the topic of my 2005 photos came back up in the ToT closing thread, I found the (official?) video of the Matrix Show at Movieworld that someone uploaded. Enjoy:
  6. I've shared this pic here before, but it's one of my favourites. Worthy of sharing in this thread. Taken in 2005 just as you exit the ride room of Giant Drop. Loooong time since it went that high. Additionally, This photo from @RobC needs sharing again:
  7. This plus a Moto Coaster style carriage is getting me a lot closer to my fantasy of a "Speederbike on Endor" coaster. This would better allow moving around logs, trees, "enemies" etc.
  8. If you have a set of wheels at some point, make the trip over to NASA at Cape Canaveral. Can fill a day over there doing the stuff at the Visitor's Centre and free Bus Tour to the Assembly Building, Pad and Saturn Rocket Building.
  9. Showcase? Yeah, point taken. Plenty of space other than that for the Western themed ride.
  10. WB Kids area first, then... I've said it before and will say it again. Add to Wild West. Where the smoking zone/falls splashdown area is, make that the entrance to a western themed ride (RMC Hybrid is my preference) that takes up land currently used by the former Western Show Stage, all the way behind Scooby and also using the land AA currently sits on. The 'shortcut' from SE to Gotham Hall can be re-themed into whatever, maybe even fully enclosed and used as a showcase walkthough.
  11. Can someone translate this into English? Google Translate wasn't helpful.
  12. From memory, part of that queue takes you through a recording studio and you hear them jamming. Then you see the coaster launch as you approach the station.
  13. Reminds me of Lethal Weapon's Pre-Show. It was being 'locked in a room' and watching a car chase scene from one of the movies, then being address as stunt drivers and let into the short queue. Then they allowed you to walk through the video room that had the chase scene on loop if you wanted to watch it. The downside was the walkway to the station became a long queue. Also, Gremlins... was the cinema part of the 'ride', or a great pre-show?
  14. For the downvoters, aw hype is making a callback to the DC Rivals thread.
  15. "No, you mean Bumblebee yellow." "No, Mustard." "No, Banana." "No, Lemon." "No, Corn." "No, Canary." "No, Faded yellow." "No, Gold." "No, Pineapple." "No, buttery yellow." "No, Amber." (Okay we weren't that bad when it came to DC Rivals..)
  16. Found the Ardent Privacy Compliance Officer. I jest...welcome Sarah. This forum is a fun place to be when big attractions are going in. The war is back on? "Yeah it's like theirs, but our has MORE (or, actual) inversions!"
  17. What was your height restriction, @Slick?
  18. Awesome series of photos and write-up. The minor details (such as lighter rock shades to imply distance) you noticed are so well done. I suspect they'll be adding more the the Rise of the Resistance end when it opens, they're at the moment not wanting to draw that many people to the area perhaps, but still keep the flow from both lands either side of it. The detailing in the queue line! Takes me back to Star Tours, but this is so much more detailed. The fact that you can look over the Falcon from above when in the ride area is awesome. All the videos/photos I've seen hadn't shown that.
  19. With the preview rides staff have been given, maybe SV's going to need to 'close' for scheduled maintenance (without ever opening)? 😋
  20. Yeeeeah, maybe a warning on that one?
  21. Jealous? Well, yes, I believe I might be. Andrew Grover embarks on US holiday to ride 69 rollercoasters
