When beta came out, a LOT of laptop and PC players who had onboard graphics couldn't play the game, or had a lot of game textures black instead of the texture. Frontier said they weren't planning on doing anything to help those who have massively below minimum requirements, to their ire. They had somehow been able to play the Alpha. So @Luke, get the game. Then download established parks from the master builders using the in-game steam workshop. If your lappy can't run the game on those maps within 2 hours of gameplay, you should be ok for a refund. ____________________________________________________________________________________ In other news, Frontier are having a 4 hour launch party in London, to be streamed live on their YouTube channel from 5am Qld time, 6am NSW/VIC time ("7pm GMT Thursday") tomorrow morning (Friday for us)! I'm in the same boat (pardon the pun) as @Jessicajealousy, my last Sea World visit they still had Bermuda Triangle, the Gondolas, and Viper. In no particular order, some things I'd like to see: One more animal exhibit, or at least expansions of the King Penguin and Shark Cove exhibits. A sea themed family thrilling walkthough (I'm thinking Les Mystères du Nautilus, not Jaws 3 tunnel scene). A signature ride in the Viper/Pirate ship/reclaimed land area - be it a ride like Joz's spinner, a flyer, or even a dark ride like Revenge of the Mummy / Indiana Jones Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Underwater Accomodation or Restaurant.

Revealed this morning: - Two Woodies (Traditional and Hybrid). - Two Water rides (Rapids and Flume). - Customise ride sequences (like what MW can do with Doomsday). - Add music to rides and speakers throughout the park. - Track rides (powered cars). - Triggered events on rides (Audio, lights, effects, ANYTHING ANIMATED in-game). - Dark Ride (underground).

I'm not ruling out more animal/marine life in the castle area if it were to be removed. It's very close to the Fairy Penguin and Dolphins, maybe too close for a serious ride? Still plenty of room at the former Viper & reclaimed area for ride/s.

No, they haven't "shut down the park", they've advised Dreamworld to not re-open. They're not locking the gates or anything. I'd like to see the memorial in a quiet corner of the park, not in Gold Rush (or whatever replaces it, if it is removed).

Ultimately, no, not in the negative. The very small number of people wishing to avoid 'theme parks' could not offset the number of people who had planned to go to Dreamworld, and are at Movieworld instead. As this is my first post in this thread (I have been on it since yesterday), I wish to express my sincere condolences to the friends, family and loved ones of the victims, survivors, staff and emergency services involved. Such a tragic accident. Thankfully, most people posting in this thread have been respectful, considerate and empathic. Emotions in our posts at this time are only natural, but posters need to be mindful that their posts can distract readers from the tragedy about those directly affected. I agree with the poster a page back, I would like to have seen better moderation of this thread as a lot of first time visitors are seeing this thread as their first time on the Parkz forums/website.

Geez. I'm sure VRTP have offered support and to help DW out if they can, but that's as close as it gets. Maybe they're confused because of MW/SW/WNW being owned by the same comany, @Santa07 ...?

I'm yet to ride DD, but I group it into the same level of thrill as the old Enterprise/Reef Diver. Maybe even better as the direction reverses during the ride. As mentioned already countless times in this and the construction thread, it's not an extreme ride, and never was advertised as so. I'm amused by the people who feel let down by the ride.
