  1. The maverick/cash bonanza set were located at the rear of the venue. They are completely gone. The current set was completely in front of the old set and is all that remains.
  2. The previous two posts. Do people sometimes think before they write?
  3. WRONG The show stage has the potential for a much bigger production show than could be done on main street and with its massive capacity could easily eat more crowds than a ride. I say put a major new show in there.
  4. Most parks use the pay system which seems to be a proven model overseas. I prefer the Disney system which is free but that seems like it will change soon. What Disney does well is its a line shortening system not skipping. You do still have SOME wait and it's cant be 50/50 or it won't work.
  5. Didn't even know they had fast track
  6. No it's just an amazing synergy of lighting, visuals, audio and performance. It's just a visual special. If you want to look at tech, go to KA. For an amazing show for you both, see Love.
  7. The gate is there to force you past the shops, that's all.
  8. Yeah but it's funnier after I mess with the original posts
  9. Interesting to hear and your reasons are true and valid. The show does have parts that are light on action, but I took the show as more of a visual and aural spectacle rather than all about action as other shows are. To be honest I think AlexB would enjoy it, but I can understand why it wouldn't be for everyone.
  10. To be honest Alex no LVH is not a good choice. Despite the monorail it is far at from the action and it is indeed stuck in the past. And JD Bunnies how on earth did love dissapoint? I don't want to argue but I actually want to know. Havin safely seen it all in my time I want to know how this OMFG show fell short for you?
  11. Yes but Eureka was very very basic. If they were to build a new attraction with such basic dark ride aspects, "get dooown shes gonna blow" anyone, then it would be considered 'lame' and 'half assed.'
  12. I say no to dark ride and yes to coaster. Maybe some veeeery basic indoor parts ala log ride and rapids but that's it. Dreamworld will not maintain a dark ride and you won't get much of one with their budgets anyway. Better to keep its crown of the ride park and leave themed experiences to MW
  13. Ok, I'd agree that demolish the lot and make that the site of a new goldrush themed ride. Probably go with MS Spinner in a good layout.
  14. ^^ Lets see... It was meant to open Boxing Day, it's not open, my guess is YES! Sometimes posts just make me slap myself in the face
  15. Agree with Flea 100% but I think even MGM is too far down the trip. I vote Planet Hollywood forth best bang for your buck. I've heard great things about Le Reve but haven't seen it, O is pretty special too. Love left me breathless though. After seeing that show I had to redefine what I thought amazing was. Blue Mans new show is fantastic and I only saw the 3rd or 4th preview.
  16. I like that nearly every news story ran the pre opening concept art with the car inverted. Rediculous!
  17. VEGAS Must see are The Lake of Dreams at Wynn - its free but you have to visit one of a couple bars to see it Blue Man Group - for anyone interested in production there is no better show to see KA or LOVE - Pretty much the most amazing specticle of a show you will ever see DISNEY See World of Color more than once, videos do nothing for the justice of this show Eat at Flos in Cars Land, food is great and the keen eye will notice the lighting inside is even synced to the background music Get a reservation for Blue Bayou at a waterside table for lunch Try and catch the Billy Hill show, its a great laugh and another gem not to miss is Great Moments with Lincoln, the animatronic is just amazing You could do Disney in 2 or 3 days if rushing and 4 or 5 days would completely cover it, and give you some chill out time in between. Expect at least 1 major E-Ticket to be down. Knotts can be done in half a day if its quiet.
  18. That's a pretty good idea. IMO it should be more expensive than a regular all day locker (maybe $5). I wouldn't think for an IT person that system would be that hard. Many places are using a phone number as a unique identifier now and that plus a pin would mean you wouldn't need wristbands or anything.
  19. Given the new course is concrete I highly doubt it. However the original ride course was kind of pointless anyway to be fair.
