Couldm't agree more mate. I personally like the idea of seals shores as it would really make the general public realise Sea world's approach to conservation and the fact that they have dolphin cove, polar bear shores, shark bay, it just sounds like it is only going to get better. Next thing you know they'll have unknown claw species cove. (joke intended, it sucks having the flu.)

I think it was a classic, maybe if it didn't have the catwalk wasn't on the whole track and if was maintained a little more than it was it would've lasted longer. Another thing is that alot of people think it is rough, and rough it was, but when you compare it to the Cyclone at the moment it is really smooth. Comparisons aside though, nice coaster indeed, apart from neglected shattered windows, the overgrown gardens, but hey, those loops don't get much better.

Okay, here's apparently the situation. Both sides have always gone up to the same height, to say one is higher is like saying one of the Space Probe gondolas go higher than the others. Now, from what I know with the double-dropping system with the east side is that it now longer does that but instead of causing too much hassle, the actual brakes are still up there, just behind the track so there is no interaction. I think more than anything we should be concerned about the west-side as it they are having a lot of mechanical problems with the engine (presumably, as no-one is allowed to give specific information about exactly what is happening) which is causing it to slow down sooner compared to the east side and making life just plain difficult. Possibly even something to do with the sensories, but I don't know that much.

This was part of a conversation between me and several ride-ops about Wipeout's situation. Basically it wont do certain spins (especially the quick high-roll at the end) because the weight on each side isn't shared and to make a spin would cause too much hydraulic pressure. Also, the docking problems are back, even though Dreamworld has gone through quite a lot of difficulty to reduce the problem. What happened (and this was on Saturday) was as it came back into dock, the ride-op (a great guy that I know well) tried the button to release the harnesses on the WipeOut gondola but it failed to release. About a minute later, and engineer jumped on the wipeout and jumped up and down on the gondola till it was in position.

Would you rekon that Dreamworld could be interested in Wonderland Sydney's water rides from the Beach for Blue Lagoon? That would be a nice idea, unless the slides are in poor conidition.

Just a quick update about the sign on the top like Maelstrom's two, is currently standing in the Cyclone area just under the first turn and hasn't been put in yet due to ride errors.

I was right behind the camera when Mark was on the Claw, and he was really just faking he was scared, plus, Leah from Home and Away hopped on with him, but she chickened out! I only got in about three rides though because I found out that The Claw runs on three different velocity settings, and because were on television (you can probably see me at some stage) we were on the highest setting. Infact, on my fourth go, I had to hop back of because the intensity was just too much, but as we were on GD, I noticed that people were walking around the claw and figured it was now opened and we went back onto it. Luckily, it was on a nice, comfortable 6, whereas before it was on 9 or 8.

Hey, I saw you on the claw yesterday Richard when you were on the ride with your very nice, Sony video camera. It was just such a beautiful ride, and very classy indeed. There was a few problems on the day though, they had to order in one of the booms in the morning to do some more checks and were surprised it didn't stop during the media day. Another great part of the day was when I met Stephen Greggs for the first time one on one and he is a really nice guy.

Yep, I am a, hey, wait a second! No, i am fine in the height department, seriously, i'll do all the midget assumpuations.
-
Yeah, hahahaha (sarcastic), you're the second person that's said that today! Yes, i am over 120cm by a long-shot.
-
Thanks pandora, are you a ride-op by any chance? Well, i'll c u there soon!
-
Yeah, I also heard that there will be a town hall for coomera and other features like that as the land near Big Brother and next to the train station (on Dreamworld's side) is part privately-owned, part dreamworld and part Coomera property.

I think that the next generation of coasters will resemble very closely to intamin's inverted rocket coaster series. Basically designs will be only restricted by money and the human intellect and that there really doesn't need to be certain defined elements to make a coaster cool. Just have a look at some of my coasters (if I have posted any) and you'll notice that some are pure indulgence in the fact that the coaster is purely for enjoyment and adrenaline, and not to show off a boomerang element. Personally now with B&M taking a stab with new elements like on SIlver Bullet, there will be new generation of coaster that will be pure bliss, and no headaches involved. But that's just my two cents.

A shopping centre? As in people are going to pay to get in, and then pay more to shop for stuff? Doubt it. "Themes areas"? Themed areas is probably the best choice for grammar, and if you read through the last five pages of posting I think you can recognise we've already found this out. By the way, who is your source and how did you get in on the claw early?
-
Okay, now I see why you were banned. I'm just dieing to find your fourth post. It's nice to hear that you went on the claw, but there's no need to post the same thing about 3 times. Get over it. I posted once.
-
Okay..... I just answered the same thing in another post? Who are you? Are you some kind of procrastinating 10 year-old or does all this boasting make you feel proud?
-
And how come you got to ride it before me!?! Oh, nevermind, you're banned now, so it was probably some kind of hoax, meh, unless your staff, in that case, welcome aboard!
-
Exactly what I was thinking! The only problem with this now is that I have to catch a 4:00am train just to get there!
-
Probably everyone knows about the B105 and home-and-away comptetition where you watch home-and-away for a code word each night and call in b105 the next morning to win tickets to go on the claw on friday before it opens to the public, well, I won, how tops os that?!

11 attractions and only an hour twenty to get there from Sydney. I personally have had a soft spot for Jamberoo, and I reckon they should be shipping some Wonderland icons in to the park maybe like SP to boost the park. Speaking of SP, any updates about wonderland and its rides?
-
Sorry, i'll elaborate, can anyone give me more info?
-
Because it's all about the showmanship isn't it Huss?

I downloaded it and it gets to a certain point before stuffing up.
