Good news - Cedar Fair have turned down the offer and shares are back up.

It never had the same upgrades that the California counterpart had. Hypothetically, if the upgrade was going to cost several million dollars, would it be worth it? If it were my money I’d retire the ride, retrofit giant drop (as I mentioned in that video I did at the start of the year) and open up the park.

It is on a whole new tower right near the highway, after all.

Would you or perhaps another member know more about this technique? I wondered about this recently - I presume it's some combination of bleaching/sanding the oxygenated layer and re-applying/lacquering?

Come summer holidays this park's going to look great - saw they were painting the BRO slides the other day and saw the big concrete pad - should look pretty decent from the highway once built.

Correctumundo - A-Frame was just to advise of filming. Seriously though, they've been running that ride with both floors open and with a full crew since it opened - they're definitely not about putting profits before guests. If they knew everything they didn't know that they didn't know then they'd also be building nuclear fusion reactors and solving world peace - things pop up, they're solving them and they've got enough lead time before the holidays to really nail it.
