  1. I didnt really see anthing that looked like galleons but I think it is safe to say now that these rides are the ones from WL. The rides have been there for a month or so now, but the reason I havent posted sooner is because the first time I went past in the car I wasnt quite sure if it was actually a ride at all since it could have been something else (like umbrellas for example) the next two times I went past i was actually reading the paper in the car and forgot to look, but 2 days ago I looked properly and it did look like a ride, so subsequently I went for a closer look. I wouldnt hold your breath for much to happen at the site anytime soon, The waterslide has being sitting unassembled for a few years, and if that is anything to go by then we could be waiting a long time. The Wwebsite of the place is http://www.emeraldbankfarm.com.au/
  2. Ok, so this is what I got, the photo is really bad since is was taken by a camera that about 5 years old, so my apoligies for that. I was also as close as I could get since there was a lake seperating me from the site. The photo was taken from the grounds of the motor inn (with the owners permission of course) Anyway, this is what i could see. -several domes painted in stripes. the stripes alternated between white and another colour including pink, red and blue. Each dome had its own color. -Dark Green/Khaki Green coloured "baskets" for the baloons, they were lying on their side and had brown seats inside that were the width of the basket that faced each other. Each basket had four poles coming out of it, presumably this is what connected the basket to the balloon -A large yellow piece of machinery, that looked like a motor for the ride -Several yellow metal poles lying on the ground -Several "quater domes", imagine you got an orange, and quatered it, then got rid of the edible part, so you would end up with eight, 3 sided shapes that are cuved. There were similar shapes to this stacked up, each one was painted half in white, and half in another colour such as green, blue or red. -Two small aeroplanes I could see, one was painted red and the other dark blue. -A central tower for the airplane ride, it was a dark grey bluish sort of colour, it looked a bit worse for wear. -Various other metal poles. -Waterslide segments, light blue in colour. I have sent the Heratiage farm an email regarding the ride, so that may help shed some light on this. The Photo: To the right you can see the domes. In virtually the centre of the photo you can see a bit of red, this is one of the aeroplanes to the left of this you can see the yellow piece of machinery The other stuff such as the airplane ride tower and the "quater domes" were on the left side but is too hard to see them in this photo.
  3. Ill see what I can do, My digital camera is really, really bad. But I might go over there since its not too far away.
  4. When I was in the car going out of town today I spotted what appeared to be a ride in several bits at a place called the "Emarald Bank Heratiage farm", a tourist complex in my town. The site where the ride parts were was surrounded by a temporary fence, and I could see many dome type things that were painted in stripes of white with another color. I could also see a large yellow piece of machinery, which could be the rides central axis thingy. Could this ride be the Great balloon race from wonderland? Does anyone know who bought the Balloon race from WL? If anyone can provide info it would be great. Also, the site where the ride is now has a few waterslide sections there too. These were from a waterslide that was previously at the local aquatic centre, and about 5 years ago the slide was dismantled was moved to the heratiage farm site near the entrance, but have since been moved to the other side of the complex this new ride.
  5. I thought is was BOOLEAN.
  6. Since whn was a helicopter involved.
  7. What about some tiger snakes in enclosure? Maybe they could stick in a runway, and offer tiger moth joy flights.
  8. The rides opening? or maybe they were plaques from the manufacturer with things like installation date, Serial Number, ect.
  9. My thoughts exactly. If a ride has good seats and restrains it can really enhance the ride. but if they are bad they can ruin it. Take bountys at WL, its over tight restraints and unmoulded seats ruined the ride a bit. And anyway, when you are on the ride you cant see the motor properly anyway.
  10. I prefer the Intamin for the seats and restraints it has

    RCT2 Team Park

Well, to tell you the truth, all that had been done was a pre made boomerang coaster, a flat ride and a simple water ride plus a few paths and trees, prehaps less than an hours work. It was a good idea you had going, you just didn't do much.

    RCT2 Team Park

Whoa neb, i must say that that your part looks very nice, prehaps what you could have done is just made it medieval themed since you already have the begginings of that there. All you would need to do is rename and recolour a few of the rides, and you could easily have the best area in the park, dont get me wrong, its very good how it is, but giving it one theme could make it even more awesome. For example the merry go round could be called Sir Steeds, and the freefall ride could be called something like "Merlins secret towers", maybe the hyper coaster could be called "The Great Battle".

    RCT2 Team Park

Come on, it has to have a centralised theme. And also, how could have you began if paul hasnt posted up his finished section for someone to continue with.

Its Ok, i was doing a mine area, but set in a jungle. I suppose they are different enough. But no biggie anyway.

    RCT2 Team Park

Yeah, we already have two jungle areas and a beach area, what we want is contrast, not copying. There is loads of potential in the egyptian area.

So, how long till you are done Paul?
  17. And anyway, if you use this site, you should try to give something back.
  18. Well they both go up, then come back down.
  19. Why would they have surcharge to cover it? It would just come out of the parks advertising budget since thats what it is, advertising a new ride. As for the frequency, well CPs cams take a shot every 15 minutes and that would work fine for this. I mean, its not like they could get a whole track piece in every minute.
  20. Maybe they could just put the good ones in the gallery, crediting the photographer in the caption, but in the forums you would post the photos showing the more intricate stuff with less broad appeal, like bits of equipment being laid out ready to put up for example.

At the end all that sort stuff will be done.
  22. Whats going on Huss, you've dropped the ball! LPS is a park, correct? it has huss rides, they may not be park models, but the fact is that they are based in a park.

Im using no expansions, and as I have already said, all you need to do is say you are going next, then start. Paul, do us proud and make us a nice transylvania .

So, what theme were you aiming for, it looks allright . EDIT: Now i see, it has a little carnival area on the bottom end, then a Jungle area at the top. Ill say about 7/10. The coasters are very good, and nice and twisty, and their layouts are realistic. I also like how you have done the gardens around the carnival part, its so tidy and laid out. My only issues are that some of the rides/shops arent named propery, or have just be slapped down and left with their default colour scemes, make sure you take the time to colour them and name them. But otherwise, not bad. And just a side note, not everyone has to do the same theme, it could be anything from an egyptian city to a futuristic moon base. They dont all need to be jungle themed.

    RCT2 Team Park

As long as you want, but it shouldn't take more that a few days anyway, its not like you have to do a whole park. Upload it as a saved game.
