  1. Yeah, the Maurer Sohne X car spinning version can go upside down, and all with only lap bars.
  2. Lift hills are cheaper than a launch by far, they operate at lower and more constant speeds, and so can offer years of trouble free use. I assuming that Hydraulics are cheaper since they have been adopted by the two biggest manufacturers: intamin and vekoma, they would also use less energy than the huge amounts needed to run rides like TOT, plus be kept cool. hydraulic is more reliable than magnetic IMO, im mean, they got Xcellerator to work ok and it was a prototype, but S:TE at SFMM took ages to get it working well, i think it opened a year late. Hydraulics are the wave of the future.
  3. Hmm, maybe a custom layout could be made, where it is out and back, a straight lift would lead into a nice first drop, then a couple of hills before a spinball style vertical u turn (CaronileBs Avatar), then on the trip back would be a trick track section that would keep the car spinning before a few twists and turns squashed in, You could run it above the main path or something, maybe someone who knows the park better could devise a location.
  4. Yeah, Rita:Queen of Speed is an Intamin Accelerator, A maurer sohne spinning coaster is what spinball whizzer is, see www.maurer-soehne.de/, IMO a great upcoming manufacturer, especially with their X car coaster.
  5. The track is definitley connected, or else how could have i made it run?
  6. What about giving people a chance to drive the demolition equiment to destroy the house, now that is something worth going there for.
  7. Here is my entry, its called Toxic pipes, Just a bit of info, to get the dueling to work, just put the ride in test mode, and it will automatically just let the first 4 boats go through and get around to the second station, when the boats get around, the dueling will then start working, no need to do anything, just let it run. Im not sure if the synchronisation will behave the same way in RCT3, but it works well in RCT2. BTW, can someone start another NL comp, i really want to compete in one, and obvoiusly i cant compete in my own.
  8. Well, its not at a theme park, but the earthquake simulator at questacon in canberra has no screen. However it counts because its for entertainment purposes.
  9. What about RPA, thats reality isnt it? IMO , big brother sucks, there isnt much interesting about watching a bunch of people simply being bored in a house, i really do hope if fails in the ratings, its just such a boring concept, maybe people should try getting out a bit and living their own life instead of watching the boring life of 16 others. I dont see what the big thing about the $1 million prize was, i dont win it , someone else is does so why do i care? And as for that uncut smut, lets not go there. Maybe they should remove the security around the house, at least something interesting would result. Hopefull 10 will give up on it and the space will be used for something worthwhile.
  10. A 4th dimension is a coasrer like X at six flags magic mountain. Anyway, my favourtie coaster types are the Intamin Accelerator, The B&M Inverter and the Maurer Sohne Spinning coaster, the only park that has all 3 is Alton towers so i gotta plan a trip there.
  11. Yeah, might as well enter, but mine is for RCT2
  12. Welcome aboard, it is widely known that the replacment will be the mammoth plungle from WnW. The thing i want to know is if they will build a conveyer belt for the rafts, or will we have to carry them, i think they would be too much to carry so they would have to replace them with cloverleaf rafts.
  13. One thing to keep in mind, they are spending $20 million, TWENTY MILLION! You could do a ton with that money, a super 8 type racing slide costs just $2 million. I would imagine the new water playground might cost a million or so, but i have got a feeling there is going to be a ton of fibreglass turning up at WnwW, maybe the eqivalent of 10 super 8 slides if they spend it all that way.
  14. Oh, i forgot that one, but thats not really a mammoth ride, it would be more likley for an extreme slide like that to go with the twister.
  15. Id agree with Daniel, there are just a few sickos about who do that kind of stuff, i dont think ordinary people just start torturing little kittens because an attraction they only visited a few times a year has shut.
  16. Not sure, but they said "Thanks to WLS" in the end credits, so they must have had some sort of involvement.
  17. Because unreliablity and low capacity are two qualities that a 4D coaster has. Hence it would add to DWs problems.
  18. I reckon it would be bermuda because you sit side by side and its in the dark, the transport rides are also a possiblity.
  19. What prototype is this? The only 2 things they reall have that havent been done by WnW is the 'pinball' slide mentioned on the completed projects page, and the whirlpool element on their inflatable raft slide.
  20. Come on bussy, who do you take me for? I am a bit of a dreamer when it comes to parks, but not that much when it comes to a WL reopening.
  21. Yeah, that is a bit dumb that it isnt on the B&M, they invented it.
  22. Well how did the original post make me sound dumb? maybe it the last sentence had no been posted by me it could have been less confusing, i just stuck that on because somebody always has to have a bitch about second hand rides being bad and that they dont want to see it anywhere else.
  23. They are based in Coffs Habour. http://www.waterslide.net/
  24. Why is it people complain about DW having too frequent breakdowns and low capacity, then they want DW to get a 4D, your'e all contradicting yoursleves. Personally, i would like to see an B&M inverted coaster, who cares if reptar has the same track position, Eureka and Cyclone have the same track position and nobody complains then. The reason i like the inverted coaster is because its a good workhorse, and many parks have an invert, which means more reliability, they just seem to be a good all around ride that is popular no matter where it is.
